Flavor Name:Pumpkin Pie Spice Arbuckles' Coffee began in the post Civil War Era of the 19th Century. Two brothers, John and Charles Arbuckle, initiated a new concept in the coffee industry; selling roasted coffee in one pound packages. Until that time, coffee was sold green and had to be roasted in a skillet over a fire or in a wood stove. The Arbuckle Brothers were able to roast a coffee that was of consistently exceptional quality and the first to be packaged in one pound bags. Arbuckles' Ariosa Blend became so popular in the Old West that most cowboys didn't even know that there was any other. Arbuckles' Coffee was prominent in such infamous cow towns as Dodge City and Tombstone. The Arbuckle Brothers enjoyed immense success into the 20th Century. However, the company was broken up by the family in the late 1930's. In 1974, Pat and Denney Willis were concerned with the inconsistent quality of coffee they were forced to serve in their restaurants. Pat and Denney knew that they could promise a consistently good cup of coffee, better than the competition; just what the Arbuckle Brothers had promised and fulfilled over 100 years earlier. Arbuckles' Coffee was reborn. Arbuckles' Coffee has garnered many acclaims throughout the coffee industry for their commitment to providing the consumer with freshly roasted coffee. Arbuckle operates their roasting facility deep in the heart of the Old West in historic Tucson, Arizona. Arbuckles' has resurrected the Original Arbuckles Ariosa Blend. It is packaged whole bean or ground in 1LB bags with a Peppermint stick, just as the Arbuckle Brothers had done over a century ago. John Arbuckle's hand written notes, before 1914, show he was trying to create a roasting process that suspended the coffee bean in air to avoid scorching from the hot metal roasting drum. It was not until the mid 1970's that Michael Sivetz patented a workable hot air roaster. Arbuckle now uses the hot air roasting process to bring you the coffee that won the west!

One of the best coffees I have ever had
When I was stationed down at Fort Huachuca, AZ, I was out on a weekend driving through the desert. I stumbled upon a pecan tree farm near Green Valley and went into the gift shop. There, I discovered Arbuckle coffee and on a whim, thought I'd try it. That was 4 years ago.The Mexicali brand I am drinking has delicious notes of chocolate and cinnamon. The coffee is excellent on its own or mixed with your favorite sweetener and crème. It is a little expensive and shipping isn't free, but this is way better than any large brands. I highly recommend trying the coffee- and if you have lived in AZ or are from there, this coffee is a nice reminder of that wonderful place.

Good Spice, Fragrant Brew of Cowboy Coffee
This is one of my favorite flavors Arbuckles makes. They are known for their "Cowboy Coffee" and this blend has hints of chicory, cinnamon, and other spice. The package is small but it goes a long way. Use half of what you normally place in the filter for the same amount of water you normally use. Example: 1 tablespoon per 1 cup water, or half a standard scoop.

The perfect blend
I bought this particular blend to make Cafe de Olla with. It was a resounding success! The slightly sweet notes combined with the chocolate and cinnamon notes in the coffee beans really made the recipe a star. I will be ordering more of the his blend in the future. Well worth the cost, it was a great value considering it makes consistently great coffee.

The best coffee you’ll ever taste (and smell!)
Omg the smell alone is refreshing! To be honest, I don’t even drink coffee! I bought it after enjoying its aroma as someone brewed a pot at work. My mom and husband love it. Whenever people smell it, they ask about where we got it. Tons of compliments about the smell alone! Come to find out, the are a local brewery in my city!

Mellow and hint of cinnamon
I love the hint of cinnamon. This is almost the only coffee I will drink. Not at all acrid or acidic. Love it.
