4" (106mm) Solid Copper Extra Long Stump Removal Spikes x10, Copper nails to kill a tree!

Nice quality nails, but they didn't kill my tree.

So far they appear to be working, I recommend a pilot hole smaller than the spike to get them started and to depth, otherwise they will bend easily. They still are very snug in the tree but this way they went in a lot further than no pilot hole.

Softer than I thought. Need to be careful when using because they tend to bend.

I like these copper nails because they kill the stumps without using poisonous chemicals. I pre-drilled holes in the stumps, then put the nails in and just left them alone. The stumps are no longer throwing up any more leafs or roots. I put these in this past summer, so the stumps will be ready to dig up in the spring. If you’re not in a hurry, and don’t want to use chemicals, this is the way to go! I had an old lilac bush and a rose of Sharon that were both in bad shape. I didn’t want to use the poison because it isn’t good for the earth and I didn’t want my dogs to get into it.

They bend when you drive them into tree trunk had to throw them away no good and very expensive but couldn't return since I tryed to use them.
