Pricey, but indispensable
This Cycle2Charge does a good job of converting AC to DC, but my only criticism is that the wires that lead down to the dynamo on the front hub seem a little flimsy. They haven't broken my yet, but soldering them to the plugs at the dynamo end was difficult because the wires were so thin.

Excellent recharging USB device
Purchased one of these last summer and couldn't be happier. I run a SP hub through a lumotec eyc headlight to the cycle 2 charge. The lumotec has an on/off button, so the cycle2charge gets full power for charging my USB power banks when the light is off. Perfect for bike camping or for charging my iPhone in a pinch. Thing is built like a tank too.
