Just stopped charging the laptop today. I checked why it might not be working and suddenly there were sparks and the current melted a hole in the wire burning my finger.

I bought this to replace another 3rd party power supply for my HP laptop that had started falling apart after just a short while. This one lasted four months before I heard a loud pop, noticed the casing getting extremely hot and the power supply to my laptop no longer registering on screen. Yes it's cheaper than buying a genuine HP cable but it's honestly not worth risking damaging your laptop or causing a fire in your home. The label on the bottom also shows it came from the same manufacturer as the previous defective item I ordered from another seller (Dongguan Delong Electronics Technology Co). Avoid.

Charger arrived next day via Amazon - well packaged. Does exactly what is suppose to - charges a HP envy-13 (2019) laptop .. laptop plug-in adapter (blue-end) perfect fit .... a previous supposedly compatible block did not fit properly.. Power convertor block does not get too hot, occasionally warn. Length etc. as described. Would buy from the supplier again.
