Obviously not as solid as a permanent ramp, but definitely usable. Ensuring that the aluminum side channels do not touch the ground improves stability.

This ramp is just what we needed to carry in the van. Now we can go visit people in their homes. The ramp is lightweight and compact but sturdy enough for a big guy in a heavy power wheelchair. It rattled a bit so I folded a towel between the layers before storing it in the van and that did the trick.

It’s very heavy and hard for one person to put in place. If you are keeping it there take time and set up well. I put it away after use so it’s a little unwieldy. It can feel wobbly when using it with two adults and a wheelchair but it’s been fine so far. If I was going to keep it in place I would support the underside with a wooden brace. It’s well built.

I needed about 15ft length. Ended up buying 2 of the 8ft ramps. Used a 3ft section of a 6x6 post and made 2 legs out of a 4x4 post for the center transition between the 2 ramps. Works great! I’m pushing the weight limit on the ramp, but walking slowly and not bouncing on the ramps work just fine. Wide enough for standard wheelchairs also.

Very easy to understand how to use it. It folds and can be carried and stored easily though it is a bit heavy. Fits a wider sized wheelchair and can withhold itself in the rain.

Considered returning it but the chains that hook it together have rusted and it no longer looks new. It bounced so much going up and down it that my wife was very fearful of it. She called a friend who came out and built a wooden ramp to replace it and it now sits out in my storage building. Anyone like to buy a flimsy 10' aluminum ramp cheap.

We really like this ramp, which works well for a wheelchair or power scooter. It was quick to “install,” requiring only two drilled holes in the threshold to insert the pins that hold the ramp in place for safe usage. The load limit is 800 lbs, which is more than adequate for most mobility devices and their passenger. I doubt we will need to take it anywhere with us, but if necessary, we have that option.

What a pile of junk! Charging $500 for this? I weigh 205 and my vacuum weighs 100. This thing flexes to the point I don't trust it. Right out of the box the clasp came off. Good thing I have a TIG welder to make this worth having. I would never trust a loved one in a wheelchair and an Aid on it. Who do I sue when it folds up and I get hurt is all I can think about this.
