The Best American Food Writing 2022

Love these publications. Read them cover to cover!! Look forward to it every year. Whether you’re in the food industry of not, great read!!Very interesting that a different editor is chosen with every issue. Love it.

I have read this series from the beginning and this is the worst edition so far. Not much about food and few articles besides. Not recommending this edition.

Oh, how I miss the old Holly Hughes edited "Best Food Writing" series.Whack! Whack! Whack! That's the sound of this book repeatedly hitting me in the head with its messsage of social conciousness. (Which I agree with....but yoking art to a cause usually results in drudgery, and that is the case here).A major disappoiuntment. Buy a pre-2018 Holly Hughes-edited version (any year will do) to see how good this collection could and should be.
