Ex Marks The Perfect Spot (Wilde Ways Book 16)

This was so much fun! I laughed, I gasped and oohed. Such a great read! I thoroughly enjoyed this story from start to stop and it was such a surprise at the end! Loved it!

This review will not be a regurgitation of the plot. My review will be why I love the book.Cynthia Eden is one of my favorite authors because she has the ability to weave a story full of characters (primary and secondary) that grab your attention and interest. She also crafts a story full of plausible plots often with small twists you have to work at to figure out, conversations that feel real to life and not stilted or unnatural, heroines that are independant/smart/kickass/devoted and heroes who feel an attraction quickly but don't deviate from those feelings. If you are looking for angst in the love between the leads, this won't be your book. The suspense happens in the circumstances the H/h find themselves in. Most of her heroes are strong willed and dominant without being an alpha-asshole. Colt is no exception. What I wouldn't give to have someone love me like he loves Chelsea.Now specifically in this book, CEden out does herself. This is more or less a second chance love story... but one where you don't hate what drove them apart. Neither character was an ass or did something incredibly stupid that split them up. In this case, the reason behind the 'breakup' totally made sense and was understandable. Chelsea wasn't a chump who allowed her hormones to override her brain. Yet she doesn't necessarily handle their first meeting back together well, it's real to life.And for the end, I love endings with angst that has you on the edge of your seat. I mean, this is a suspenseful romance so we know there will be an HEA but all the same, the angst was heartfelt (though I do think it could have been played out a little longer and stronger to really hit my heartstrings harder).The side characters.... can't wait to get their story.... you know it's coming.Meanwhile, I again love this book. CEden hit it out of the park and leaves you jonesing for more.

This book started out so great! Cole finds his girl, but loses her due to a job. He can't tell her he is working, so she dumps him. He shows up again and the fun begins. Or it should have begun. The longer the story went on with its creative and suspenseful things, the more of an insipid damsel in distress Chelsea became. She had no sense of self-preservation and seemed naive and gullible about everything. The first time she showed she had a brain was when she finally started assessing Ty at the hospital. After that she became an intelligent woman with some good brain cells after all.The plot moved quickly and had sort of a Jessica Fletcher feel with all the twists with few actual clues until the end. At which point it's "all explained" by Remy and Ty. Remy is still one of my favorites in these books and I hope he gets a story and a real bad ass woman one day.

After 15 books in this series, you do start to worry that maybe Miss Eden might run out of interesting storylines. So as I started on this one, I was kinda filled with trepidation that it would be the case finally for book number 16.I was wrong. So so wrong. I loves this one a lot. I did tear up at some parts. The story moved fast, it was exciting and it did, as usual, have a fair bit of funny moments too. All in all, I'm definitely pleased with this one as I've been w the previous 15 titles. Looking forward to reading Book Number 17.May you always tell such wonderful , exciting love stories, Miss Eden.

Nobody can write better than Cynthia Eden. This series has kept me entertained from the beginning. When your ex isn’t who you think he is; yet comes to your rescue as some big bad superhero. What do you do, well run with him. As the masks fall off Chelsea learns that Colt is definitely hero material. Will they make out alive? And can Chelsea handle this new Colt?

Not only was the dialogue spot on but the chemistry and heat between these two characters was off the charts. The things that Chelsea would say to Colt (especially a few scenes at the beginning) made me chuckle and you could easily picture the look on his face as he reacted to her comebacks and remarks.The Wilde series is definitely one of my faves and this book did not disappoint. It had everything. Tropical island paradise. Mystery and suspense. And a whole lot of steamy connections between two great characters. Looking for a break from reality? Then pick this book up!

OMG I love this story line between Chelsea and Colt and how they got back together after she was kidnapped and Colt rescued her and told her who he was and then she was kidnapped again also her mom was a jewelry thief and she stole a pearl necklace and people were trying to get it back but in the end she got it back and they got married Thanks for an amazing book and Cynthia is an amazing author

If you like second chances for love with a twist of murder and mayhem, this book and the series is right for you! Not going to give anything away but once again Cynthia Eden hits it out of the ballpark. A fiery fun couple and an age old mystery or two makes for delicious reading!

I love the Wilde ways series, they have great stories with lots of mystery, love and action. Have read them all so far but this one I just loved Colt and Chelsea,Remey is a definite lovable rogue

Chelsea is certainly not listening to Colt about the danger she is in. I want to reach into the book and shake sense into her.Remy does make me laugh at times but not sure of him. I certainly was not sure of Ty and there certainly was surprises that I did not expect, even the bad guy had me fooled.I loved that ending and couldn’t help but laugh. Can’t wait for Remy’s story.
