Knots Block Chewing Bird Toys for Parrot (Large 17 Inch)

My African Gray (Leonard) has become Leonard the Destroyer, and for a toy that's priced under $20 this has held up reasonably well. (Although he does hold the current world's record for *complete* demolition within a little under 24 hours. Which includes the several hours during which he's supposed to be asleep).Most of the time, however, it does take him a few days, anyway - often depending upon whatever else of interest may happen to be in his cage at the same time. And, as he's pointed out, these toys are actually purchased for him to destroy. So all in all, this has been a great investment to which he has given his general seal of approval.And, yes! He recommends it to friends.....

The quality is very good, this is what I want, as I imagined, the material is very good, the overall is still pretty good, the size is right, the color is also very good, I like it very much. The material is safe and tasteless, the color is beautiful and beautiful, it is easy to clean, it is not easy to be dirty, and it can also be used as an ornament.

My bird will destroy it rather quickly but it would have been nice if it had arrived fully assembled without a broken link which caused all the blocks to drop off back into the bag as i pulled it out with what was supposed to be the hanging link. Fortunately I had old clasps lying around so I did not have to find pliers after I reassembled it. Of course without the pliers I can not put the bell back on and how my bird loves the bells. I will buy it again and hope next time all is in tact.

Large toy. Lasts a good time for the amount paid for it with my macaw. It has solid chunks of wood on it. My mom's cockatoo can shred one into toothpicks in a few days to two weeks depending on how he is feeling.Longevity of this toy depends on your bird, but it is a good value for the size and a perfect toy for a large macaw(to big for a Severe mini macaw unless they like large toys) or large cockatoo.

Item was broken in pieces when openedI've purchased before and everything was fine. Not sure what happened this time

Our parrot loves these. She is a large Amazon, and they take quite a beating and last a fair amount of time. Great quality. An absolute must-have for us.

These things are getting so flimsy its ridiculous! Lasted 5 days! Not buying online anymore. I will pay more & go to my local bird shop where I can see what I'm getting.

Actually I really liked the item, and most importantly the bird I bought it for really loved it. If you notice I said "Liked" because it only took him 2 days to destroy it. Design is great, really got his interest, but it just wasn't very durable. I have an African Grey, who really isn't that hard on toys in comparison to some bird's I have been around. So if you want a good toy, and don't mind a short life, the product will be great for you, if for around 20 bucks you think you should get several weeks out of a toy then you may want to look for something more durable.
