When I ordered this journal, I was a little worried that by going with a pretty design would mean that the rest of the journal’s quality would suffer, but it definitely does not. Not only is it pretty but THE PAGES DON’T BLEED!!!! I have a heavy hand and practically carve into any paper I use, but I’ve had no problems with this journal whatsoever. I will say that the gold on the sides of the paper has been coming off a little for me, but that is likely due to the state of my messy workbag and less about the quality of the item. Overall I will 100% be buying from this company again once I fill this book up!

I have tried so many different journals hoping to find one that doesn't bleed or ghost. Without a doubt, this one is the one! Even when you color something in and there are layers of marker or pen, it still doesn't show on the next page! It's amazing!!! And the price point is fantastic for the quality. I cannot believe the hype around some of the other brands out there and I've tried them all. This is THE ONE!

I have bought this journal for two years in a row because of its high quality and extra features. The dot grids are evenly aligned on every page. The pages are already numbered, which saves me from the tedious job of numbering. It comes with a mini ruler, stickers and doo-dads which are fun for the children. It also has an annual calendar that can be glued onto the inside cover for quick reference (be sure to order product that has the calendar for the year you want.j It is nicely boxed, so would make a great gift).

The paper is nice and buttery smooth, and the dots are printed clearly, cleanly and squarely. The journal lays flat due to the sewn signature binding*. I love the colour and feel of the cover and the designs are cute without being overwhelming. The book is a little thicker than the Leuchtturm1917, or a Moleskine (both of which I have used in the past,) which is to be expected with the thicker paper. The two bookmarks are different colours, the expandable pocket opens easily as the material for the expanding is not paper, but what appears to be very stiff nylon ribbon (it's shiny too, I like that, not sure why.) This journal also comes with a pen loop sewn to the back cover, and adhesive tabs - 6 large and 12 small.(*There is one small issue with this.)For what it is on it's own - this is a fantastic journal for under $20 and well worth the purchase. If you're looking for a journal for the first time, this one is an excellent buy and I encourage you to give it a shot.When compared to previous journals I have used - this journal is more than worth the money as it has exactly what I want, without any of the things I do not use, right now. I started with Moleskines and moved to Leuchtturm1917s primarily for the paper thickness, to combat ghosting. The latter is not much better than the former and they are about the same price. I went in search of something with thicker paper and was having a hard time swallowing the cost of an Archer and Olive or a Scribbles That Matter just to see if it accomplishes what I want without sacrificing the parts that are important to me (dot grid that is clear and straight, the pocket, the bookmarks, and the hardcover.) There is an added bonus of a pen loop already sewn in so I don't have to add one myself and no forcing the index for my journal to the front of the book.The ONLY thing that prevents this from being a four star review is the glue in the binding to secure the signatures. the last page and first page of each signature of this journal are stuck together, as are occasionally the center page of each signature. How much is inconsistent through the book, but at least 3 of the ten have glue from the center to past the first row of dots in the grid. Because the paper is so thick they can be separated without much worry of tearing pages to the point where they aren't really usable, but it also means that the dots and top layer of the paper from one page go with the glue to the other page. It's not a huge thing, but it is somewhat obnoxious. That and the fact that I will have to go through and separate all the stuck together pages so the book lays flat at those pages and the pages after.

For those who like A&O this is quite literally the perfect alternative. The paper quality is spot on and it has a similar fabric feel on the outside. I love the extras that came with especially the stickers. I will definitely be buying more of these and will choose this brand over A&O. For the leuchtturm people this paper is double the thickness and white vs the cream. You also won’t get the bleed through or shadowing on this paper. I also like the fact that the pages are numbered.Now with that being said there’s a couple of things that I’d like to see or I think that could be done better.When breaking in the binding it ended up looking a little rough which isn’t a huge deal as I’m sure it will hold up over time but it’s more noticeable than others. The paper is really white almost too white if that makes sense. At least it is for these old eyes. It also would be nice if the ribbons had a greater difference between the two colors to distinguish them more easily. Lastly I wish they’d make these in different sizes, particularly a Travelers notebook size would be great!

I've purchased two SeQeS journals. They are well-made and affordable. I use various paints and pens, and there are no ghosting issues.Also, SeQeS has excellent customer service.Amazon shipped the journal in an envelope sans gift box and extras (ruler, clips, etc.). Thankfully, the journal wasn't damaged in transit. I mentioned this in my review, and SeQeS quickly contacted me and went above and beyond to remedy the glitch.

I have recently picked up the hobby of journaling and had tried out so many other bullet journals that all had the same problem. Bleed through on the pages. I was ecstatic when I came across this gem of a journal! There is absolutely NO bleed through, even when using a sharpie, and all the little gifts it came with was a big plus! I’m already excited to finish this one so I can purchase another😅 Happy journaling!

This is a very lovely notebook! The paper is high quality, thick, and very smooth. The printed bullets are neither too dark nor too light. The bound leather (or faux leather?) cover is very soft and smooth and doesn't get damaged too easily by other items in my backpack. I quite like that it has a band to keep it closed and a silk bookmark to keep my place. I haven't used the pen-holder much, but it handy to have there on occasion! Overall, a clear purchase recommendation!

Beautiful journal, lovely texture to the external and the paper quality is amazing. Bonus, the bullet journal even came with some beautiful stickers and some brush pens. This was very exciting as I’ve been wanting to try brush pens for a while. I’m super pleased with the journal and can’t wait to start using it.Potential only downside is the dots are a darker colour to my other journals so they may be more visible in designs but it’s really not the end of world :)

This journal is absolutely amazing. It comes in lovely packaging and a little note from the maker. I was also very surprised when i took the journal out and underneath it was lovely pens and stickers. I will definitely be buying this as a gift for many people.
