Excellent for what it is intended for, a practice amp.
I have been looking at the JOYO Portable Guitar Practice Amp & Pedal All-in-One Rechargeable Bluetooth Combo Guitar Amplifier with Effect & Footswitch Jam Buddy for a few weeks. I was waiting for Prime days to start in case it went on sale. The first morning of the sale I checked and the price was the same, $99. I went ahead and ordered it thinking it was not going to be on sale. I just happened to be looking to see what was on sale an hour later and saw the Jam buddy on sale for $66. I tried to cancel the order, but was unable. Long story short, after getting in contact with JOYO and Amazon I am getting a refund for the difference! Also I highly recommend this guitar pedal. It is perfect for what is is intended for, a practice amp. Sounds great, can play along with songs via blu-tooth and is rechargeable. 5 Stars!!!!! for both product and costumer service!

Great for practicing, not loud. Read on.....
I ran across this from a YouTube video. It sounded great. I watched maybe 6 more videos before I ordered. You need to understand, that people that make and post those videos are mostly after subscribers, not to "endorse" products. Many, if not all, use Pro Tools to edit and enhance sound/tone.With that said,The Jam Buddy is a great tool offering portability and tone in a very compact package. This is not your Dad's practice amp. The volume is very low. It will not allow you to play with others not using a similar device. It gives you like 4 channels that range from clean to a modded Marshall. The delay is fantastic! The tone and gain knobs offer subtle changes. Don't go rotating the knob like a 1/2 turn, or you'll mis a good sound. When I first plugged in, I was ready to return it. I had to spend about 20 minutes just easily adjusting the knobs and have a really nice tone to play along with. What I loved is the fact that when plugged in, with a really robust AC to DC adapter (NOT a wall wart, think laptop type power), it charges the Jam Buddy. No power needed to take this to another room, out to the deck, or in the middle of the woods. There is the input on the right side of the unit, and a 1/4" headphone jack to the left. This thing sounds AMAZING with headphones. The internal speakers are adequate for the intended use of the Jam Buddy. You will not be wanting to put a set in your favorite cab, the work enough for you to just jam. What I like, is sometimes an idea will come to me, and firing up one of my Marshalls or a Mesa Boogie,, by the time the tubes warm up, my idea is gone. With this, instant on, ready to play.I have taken the 1/4" headphone jack and plugged a mono guitar cable to my USB interface to my computer and have played it in Jamulus online, and it works great. You can also record into Pro Tools or Reaper or your favorite DAW also. All in All, I like having this. it will work great taking on vacation. The size is perfect.

Lots of good sounds for the $$$
Well, I like everything about it. This little portable amp is perfect for jamming with friends in the house and the yard. Plays for 3 hours, has a lot of versality. and good sound quality. Loud enough to play for 20 or so people to hear without hurting their ears. It is easy to take anywhere (not underwater). It goes in my suitcasewhen I go on trips, so I can try other people's guitars . It is hard to believe you can get this level of an amplifier for this price. Five stars all the way from. me.

Solid product!
Does what it says. Gets plenty loud and effects are real. I use mine with a wireless setup and really like it!

Nice, but there's better options.
I liked the idea of having the bare bones, basic options available via footswitch in a rechargeable, easily portable device. This thing has a really solid and reactive voice. I even ran it through my 50-watt PA speaker, to throw the sound around a bit - there was no hiss, but definitely some background scruff when magnified. If I just wanted to practice in hotel rooms, this would be a lovely travel, all-in-one kit.But since I'm a chronic gear mix & match, min/max-er... I have to say that an Oontz Angle 3 paired with the Valeton Rushhead Max blows this out of water. I can fill my entire basement to the brim with more sounds and effects in those little rechargeable items, and they even come in a few dollars less than this thing on 50% sale.I like what Joyo was trying to do here... but I'm returning it because I already have a better and more versatile option in my kit.
