I like the ease of self drilling and the wide head for support without need of washers. And the variety of sizes is convenient to have on hand. The case is nice for organizing.

Apart from what others have said, I would highly advice any person to purchase about 20 screw, nut, and washer assortments when you get your first residence. They have an infinite shelf life and will easily pay for themselves over time. Even if you only use 5% of the 3,000 or so fasteners over the next 30 years, they will pay for themselves in gas and time running to Home Depot at the last minute.On a related note, I have found the same to be true with purchasing quantities of small batteries (CR 2025, LR44) that go into various gadgets. They are 1/10 the cost of what a hardware store charges and have long shelf lives.

I bought to use on sheet metal building to hang cctv cameras. I did not want to have to pre-drill holes and potentially have to use washers. Self tapping and pan head stainless screws did the trick. Easily tapped through the sheet metal with moderator drill pressure and drill speed.

I found these to be much harder to get started into the sheet metal siding of my storage shed than other brands I have used. They eventually pushed through to hold adequately but I was a wee bit disappointed in how they drove.

good variety (lenghts), 410 stainless steel, won't strip, very tough. But pre-drill into hardwood to make it easier.

These stainless steel screws were so much stronger than what I got at homedepot. The held up to my milwaukee impact driver. Im impressed will buy again.
