Bought 2 Lane Venture Hemingway collection patio rockers 3 years ago. One of them went all the way back to full rocker/recline position a couple months ago, looked at warranty page... disappointed at only 1 year for as expensive as those chairs are I thought 5 years? Nope. Was going to call place where we purchased from and started looking for repair videos, found one and he had a link to these. Needless to say, had to cut it down to size, drill the 4 holes out (wear gloves, fiberglass/composite makes you itchy) and walla chair sits normal now and doesn’t make you feel like you are going to tip over when you sit down, back to normal/new position!

The old ones on the chairs were getting very weak so I thought I would give these a try, very easy to replace the old ones, you need to use an old one as a template to drill the holes, these were slightly smaller than original but not enough to be a problem. We will see how long they last. They are fiberglass so where gloves when drilling as fiberglass can give you small but painful slivers.These are not as stiff as original but will do the job.

Exact thickness, however the length is approx. 1/4" short. Pay attention when placing new to old for the drilling/alignment of the new holes, whereas one end will have a hole placed real close to the edge therefore making it weaker.Instead, cheat-a-tad on both ends, and do one chair at a time.

I liked the ease of installation and the stability of the product. Looks like the original part.

Not too hard to replace. Probably wish I had bought predrilled but drilling was not bad. Chairs like new.

I purchased the 8 quantity package of the spring blanks. Using an old spring as a pattern, drilling matching holes in the new blanks was very easy. The new replacements add new life to our older patio chairs.

Very easy to use. Used old spring for template to drill new holes, bolted on and enjoyed sitting on the patio.
