Much better than I anticipated. Sturdy with inches on one side and cm/mm on the other. Both measuring units on both sides are going in the same direction therefore it is easy to compare. It will be really helpful for math instruction doing measurement conversions.

It is a thicker cut of wood which is nice, it is a useful tool for a variety of needs. Has both imperial and metric measurements.I am not sure how they make any money on this, the box had to cost more than the raw cost of the yard stick. It was packed in a very heavy duty cardboard box stuffed with tons of packing paper. The box was massive

I bought this as a toy for my kids 18 months ago, just so they know what a dang meter is when they grow up. It's taken a lot of abuse, and it's still going strong. Some of the paint has worn off, but it's still readable. It's swept a lot of refrigerator magnets out from under the refrigerator, which is convenient I guess. They always end up falling off the refrigerator back onto the kitchen floor, which is why I kick them under the fridge in the first place, to get rid of the dang things. But ever since I bought this the kids know how to retrieve them. My daughter cries if she catches me kicking her letters under the fridge, so I do it when she's not around. I talked to my wife about it, but she is unsympathetic. I like the bold font and clear markings, the only thing it's missing might be a hole to hang it on.

This is a high quality product, but it is a meter/yard stick. Finding a meter stick apparently requires traveling across the pond.
