Pros: easy to assemble, intuitive to install (we did not do the hardwired version), the fixtures themselves are well made, functional, easy to use, dimmable, good lookingCons: lamp shades are cheap and look cheap and they don't get very bright (if this is the primary light source in your room, I'd be careful).Generally, I am very pleased with these. We put them on either side of our bed, and it adds a nice cozy touch as well as a convenient reading lamp.

These beautiful wall sconces were purchased for my mother to use in her bedroom as additional lighting at her bedside without taking up space on her side table. Loved that they could be mounted and plugged into an existing outlet. The packaging is surprisingly compact with the light shades disassembled but they go together very easily and look high quality when done. The brass is a nice touch of gold and the hardware is heavy and seems top quality. The kit comes with everything you need to mount and plug in or to hardwire. They even give you clear, stick on clips to keep the cord straight and in place for a neat, sophisticated appearance. The provided bulbs are nice and bright and the control knob is a dimmer for adjusting brightness as needed. Oddly, one of the bulbs in our order would work in one of the lamps but not the other while the other bulb worked in both lamps. The hinged arms are a bit tight - there may be a way to loosen them that I haven't realized yet -but we just bent them to fit my mothers needs and chances are that she will not have to readjust them. They mount very securely to the wall with the provided hardware but I would suggest that any adjustments to the arm after mounting would be done with two hands so you don't accidentally wrench it off of the wall. Overall, these wall sconces are a great buy that look beautiful and are easy to mount and plug in giving you instant sophisticated lighting and added decor without taking up tabletop space. I would definitely recommend and purchase again!

Love these lamps. Theye were very easy to install, I am plugging them in. Very bright and perfect for being able to read at night when sitting in bed. Also love that this kit came with two as I was able to put one on each side of the bed and remove the large lamps from the nightstands and regain nightstad space

I really like these lamps, but they do have some flaws. They are pretty, and they provide good and dimmable light. These were installed/hung (not hardwired) in a spare bedroom. Installation was straightforward, but I notice they don't really 'hug' the wall that well; there's a little play between the lamps and the wall. Also, the arms are very stiff; I will have to caution my guests to use both hands to move the arms: one to stabilize the base against the wall, and the other to actually move the arm. And when they do, to move one articulating arm, and then the other. Had I been using these for the main bedroom, or in one that is used regularly, I probably would have returned.

I installed a pair of these in our living room as reading lamps and general room lighting and they're very nice. Super easy to instal, just 2-3 screws through a mounting plate into the wall, then two nuts to attach the lamp to the mounting plate, it took just a few minutes.I was surprised to find that the switch is also a dimmer, I guess I was only looking at the style of the lamp in the listing, but it's a really nice feature, and it was also nice to find a couple of perfect reading light bulbs in the box, roughly 60 watt equivalent "Edison" style bulbs of 2700K color temperature, the same as incandescent, my favorite.I'm very happy with the lamps and would recommend them. Good value for money.

I WANTED SCONCES THAT WILL ADD A LITTLE STYLE TO MY NEWLY REDECORATED ROOM. LOVE THE STYLE THE SIMPLICITY AND THE COLOR CHOICES.

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this set of lamps for our master bedroom with a King bed. We installed them by hardwiring in the wall above our electrical outlets, so there is no electrical cord to plug them in. These lamps do come however, with a plug so you are able to hang them on the wall and plug them into an outlet. We cut off the plug and hardwired them in the wall directly to the outlet.They look beautiful in our bedroom. I was afraid that they would be too small in our large 15‘ x 12‘ bedroom with a king bed but they are the perfect size. The shades come flat and you connect them to the lamp frame in a 360° form. They are made of real canvas material , warm Waite with brown cross hatch threads and trimmed at the top and bottom of the shade. The inner shade is made up of a slick plastic. The shade frame is white, where the Lamp style is black. Light bulbs are LED and do not heat up but provide plenty of light. The adjustable arm is stiff and holds the lamp in place. You may push the lamp back towards the wall or pull out closer over your bed.I normally purchase lamps from a brick and mortar store so I can inspect the quality. I am extremely happy I took a chance on these lamps. We have had them now for almost a year and they are holding up well. My favorite feature is the on/off dial, which allows you to turn the light brightness up or down. My husband can have his light on at the lower setting and still be able to get ready for bed and it does not interfere with me sleeping on my side. The dial does make a click when you turn it on and off so you know that you have cut the electricity current to the lamp. You do have the ability to dial down the brightness all the way without turning off the current and the light will be out completely. Sometimes I use this feature so the click sound does not wake up my husband.I would purchase again if I needed lamps in another bedroom.

Looks very pretty, easy to install

This item was easy to install and came with all the screws plugs etc. I love the lighting, brighter than previous ones, with easy on off dimmable switch.Reasonably priced. I am going to buy another set for another bedroom. The flat pack scared me, but everything was easy to install. The shade was easy to assemble and looks perfect. Highly recommend this product. Fast delivery too, which was wonderful since my other bedside lights had just died.

These lights came in an unexpectedly small box so my first reaction is that they forgot the shades but the shades are very cleverly rolled up and must be applied to the frame as you unroll. The lights are a good size and were quickly installed with no missing parts.

For the price I can't complain. Lights look great. Would recommend

My lamps arrived quickly, in good condition, and beautifully packaged. Lightbulbs and wall anchors for the screws were included! All you need is a screwdriver. It took about two minutes to assemble the shades - they are not pre-assembled, which saves a lot on packaging waste. Assembly was extremely straightforward and simple. Less than ten minutes start to finish had a lamp up on the wall. It looks great and is a nice size (I ordered large, which is perfect beside our recliner). The quality seems very good for the price! I’m very pleased.

Lovely lamps, but one bulb was broken. I sent the company a message but I have had no response.Please send me another bulb or make of bulb and where I can find them. Poor customer service
