It adjusted easily with no tools needed. Height, angle of saw and it also would rotate the end so you can cut limbs in hard to reach places.

ANOTHER UPDATE ON 12-5-2023AND another BAD IMOUMLIVE item from Amazon. . . NOW after all the time I have taken to give HONEST, reviews and trying my best to work with AMAZON, they actually have the gall to stick it to me, by discounting my deserved refund that one of their workers said they were going to issue me. . . IT has been VERY frustrating on a few of these different items I have bought from Amazon. . . I mean it isn't like their departments who have lied to me about the quality of some of their items, which NOW includes their IMOUMLIVE saw extension pole, after I bent over backwards to TRY and work with them on this long ongoing episode of total frustration, BECAUSE I am honest and some of the people that have handled this whole situation are not on their end. I am very poor, barely squeaking by at age 82 to try and keep going here to survive; serving our Creator out of love, NOT money; and cannot afford even enough fuel to heat my house and one garage here, so have to cut firewood and burn that so I don't freeze here in Wisconsin. So, I cannot buy the very best of equipment like some richer people can; so just do the best I honestly can and am very thankful when someone does help me out a little. . . Then because of the way this world is going nowadays, you get people who only want to get what monies and/or pleasures they can for themselves; and make us honest ones suffer. This world is so sad now, and getting worse all the time.I have like I have said; bent over backwards to do what is right and be honest in everything I do. . . Now I got this saw pole extension and because I was sickly for a good share of this year again; and didn't get it sent back in Amazon's so called 30 day window, they are going to penalize ME more, for their not selling me a piece of equipment that THEY said was looking AND working like new, even though their shipping box was destroyed. . . Well, I have been a Prime member for many years now, but that is going to have to change very soon, I don't like dealing with liars, or fibbers, or whatever you want to call them. The gal I talked to yesterday told me that She "had my back"; and was going to get me my deserved full refund; and after me being on hold several times, she said she got the full $74.54 for me, PLUS a Courtesy payment of $9.34; so I could buy the NEW pole this time instead of the USED one they sent me and said looked AND worked just like brand new. . . Oh, it LOOKED like brand new, but sure didn't WORK like brand new. . . The saw kept cutting out on it and took practically forever to cut a 4 inch limb. . . I thought it might be the 2.0Ah batteries, so even bought a new 3.0Ah battery from Amazon and tried that, to no avail. So I figured it can't be the batteries. . So took the IMOUM saw off the pole and tried ALL THREE batteries directly ON THE SAW; and the saw worked, NOT PERFECT, but very, very good; so deduced it HAS to be the pole; that had the original box destroyed when shipping to another customer; and though the saw LOOKED like new, evidently the tremendous crash it went through when the box was destroyed, has damaged something INSIDE the pole. And at the price they charge for these things; "I" should NOT have to be the one to have to take it apart and find the problems.TRUE, although I spend a bundle of my measly monies each year at AMAZON; it won't hurt them too much with me gone; BUT I have done all kinds of free help to them by all my JimBoB reviews AND I have steered many, many people their way also. . . NO MORE! They should have GIVEN me some of these items for FREE for all the HONEST work I have done for them and recommending them to many of my friends too. Now time to go back to some of the ways I did things BEFORE Amazon came along, I guess.THANK YOU for your time, everyone.# # #UPDATE: 11-9-2023I am NOW updating this review even again; since I finally got to be able to try and use this unit; with the latest rotatable Extension pole; after I had already sold my Ryobi 8" unit because it was too heavy for me to handle with my bursitis. . . This one is about two pounds lighter than that one; and I could just barely get it up to cut off an approximately 3" branch on a green Poplar tree. . . I THOUGHT it was going to cut it off easily. . . WRONG. . . . There wasn't enough power in that factory 2 ah battery that came with the IMOUM Live 6" saw, to do the job, it kept cutting out. . . NOW I am wondering IF maybe the 3 ah Imoum, battery would possibly do the job??? I may order one of those now; and see IF it will do the job; IF not, then I am at wit's end. . . Wished I hadn't sold that 8" saw now. . . Took a big loss on it with charger and battery just to move it out. Oh, well, at least I am getting some experience, right? . . . lol.JimBoB.. . .UPDATE: 5-18-23 AFTER writing the two reviews below this update; I got a nice email from IMOUMLIVE, and they felt bad that the pole was not working for me. . . They did not know at the time that I had already sent the used pole back to Amazon, since I had not heard from anyone earlier on it; and was very frustrated with my whole experience. . . This gal from IMOUM offered to give me at no cost, another IMOUM 6" mini saw to replace the one I had earlier and had already returned to Amazon; with some problems. . . So, when she offered me the newer upgraded saw, I accepted; and received it in a couple days. . . I have only used it a couple times so far, but it does work very well so far. . . the only thing now is I do not have the pole anymore. I would like to get their newest Upgraded pole, but can't afford it right now. Right now I am experimenting with other brand brush saws as my brush has overgrown this 10 acre property pretty bad the past few years. . .(it used to look like a park in here when I was younger). So, the moral of the story is this: We customers need to read instructions close; however the sellers need to also know what they are selling. . . After getting the new saw from IMOUM, I did some close comparing with my other brand mini saws that wouldn't work with IMOUM's pole; and found out; though the batteries will interchange, and do work to a point; the base connection where the batteries connect are different on the IMOUM and the other lower priced tools. THE POLE only works on the IMOUMLIVE tools. . . Since they have 3 connections, and the cheaper tools only use two. . . So please keep that in mind IF you are going to go with their brand of tools, and don't try to mix and match other brands, as you will be spending a whole lot of your time, spinning your wheels. I do not have much monies, but time is still money, so keep that in mind. . .Hope this clears up the whole situation on WHY other saws would not work on the IMOUMLIVE poles.Jim.# # #Original Post:I bought this as the last one on Amazon; however, I have NOT been able to use it, at all. I have tried 3 saws on it that I got from Amazon; that ALL USE this Makita type of battery; and while they fit as does three different batteries; The saw runs ONLY if you press the trigger ON THE SAW ITSELF. . . and this is WITH the saw attached to the pole and also the battery at the bottom end of the pole. THIS was purchased through AMAZON warehouse; and it had been returned; AND inspected according to the sticker on it, and PASSED. . . BUT while it looks good, it don't work right. . . I am guessing a wrong wiring job, some how in the initial build? I have NOT tried to take apart to see, YET, as I do not want to void any warranty. . . I had purchased a IMOUMLIVE 6" saw before, but had to return it, as poor quality; but really hoped this would work good; with one or more of other saws I got from Amazon to replace it. . . I do like the DESIGN of this pole, but at 81 years old, I can't climb trees anymore; therefore the pole saw, right? I do already have a RYOBI 8" polesaw that works okay, but too heavy for these old arthritic arms and shoulders; and not as good of a design as this one, in MY opinion. Apply about $35 of the monies I paid for this, toward my Amazon account, and I will keep this and TRY to see IF I can make it work; otherwise take it back and refund ALL my monies and I will try something else. (though I hate to). . I have been out in the woods cutting, hauling and piling and splitting firewood since I was 7 years old; so it is NOT for lack of experience on MY part; okay???
