Autolite Iridium XP Automotive Replacement Spark Plugs, XP104 (4 Pack)

Autolite XP104 plugs. Amazon sent the wrong plugs first time but they did the free return and then shipped the correct ones.

Works fine in my 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid.

Tune up on my son’s car. After 140k it wasn’t running like it should. New motorcraft coils and autolite plugs. Iridium is supposed to be the best. Runs like a new one now. Someone posted they thought these were knock-offs but the printing on the plugs and the packaging all appear without flaw. Made in china like all are so all I know is they look good, pregap is good, and they work. Time will tell.

My 2006 Ford 3.0 had an occasional miss on cylinder 1, I determined that spark was consistent so I changed the injector. It ran well after and with no discernable miss but it would still throw a cylinder 1 misfire code occasionally on startup.At first I assumed there might be a little air in the fuel system after the injector change but after a couple weeks of driving I knew it couldn't be that. So I bought a very high quality plug wire set and installed it, thinking that the original plug wires are very old and could be internally compromised in spite of being fine on the outside. The occasional start up miss on number 1 continued.Knowing that a fuel pressure or filter issue cannot only effect one cylinder I decided to replace the plugs in spite of there being no indication of any kind that the plugs on any cylinder were less than perfect; they all looked exactly as they should.I chose these plugs because they are among the best available, I had little confidence that this would help but I knew the next step was back to the injector and I should eliminate the plug possibility first.The occasional misfire disappeared after installing these plugs, the entire performance of the engine was noticeable better as well, it was smooth before the plug replacement but the power and economy noticeable improved after the plug replacement.I am not new at diagnosing engine problems, my experience has always been that plugs which show perfect performance when they are pulled and read are not causing any issues in engine performance; I only changed these as a preliminary to pulling out a high quality brand new injector that I doubted was a problem.I have read that these 3.0 Ford engines are designed to fire the plugs on the exhaust stroke as well as the compression stroke on half the cylinders, that sounds ridiculous and I cannot confirm it but someone suggested that might be why an intermittent misfiring plug might still appear clean upon removal. I don't know but I am going to include it in my favorable review of these plugs in case anyone else is chasing an intermittent misfire on a Ford 3.0 engine.

Great Value. Tune up on my girlfriend’s Mazda 3, the cars has over 203K it was sitting in the driveway for months with a misfire code. New coils and autolite plugs. It runs better than ever now.

I don`t know how they do it, but no other manufacturer come close in price to these Autolites. Along with the mail in rebate, I actually came out $2 ahead! Oh, and they work great too in both my 1999, and 2005 Ford Tauruses with the 3.0 engine.

I am running my car with these spark plugs for the last 7 years. These plugs are almost like the original ones. FYI; Autolite used to be in the Ford family for many years. I never experienced any missfires or DTC’s related to them in approximately 80000km. The gap was perfect out-of-the-box, no need to adjust it. My car is a 2010 Ford Focus with a Duratec 2.0 liters engine.

I had engine error code which I thought was due to bad coil. Changing the coil didn’t work. But changing the plugs did restore the engine performance.

I installed these spark plugs back in the spring of this year (2021) its now December and they are preforming well
