This product functions well. It intelligently maps the room and does not randomly move atoning. It goes in a straight line. Has problems going over rugs and rumba much better in carpet. Also this product to easily gets caught on things so have to baby sit it more than the rumba. Problem with these products in general is the are too big to go under sofas and ottomans. It is annoying to always have to raise the sofa to pull out a stick robot that should be smart enough not to get itself stuck in the same place repeatedly. Where the h. is the intelligence. Just completely annoying. I want a robot that is smarter than a lump of clay when it comes to figuring out how to avoid obstacles. If the hole is too small to fit into, don’t try! How hard is that? Dah!
