Yea, it's a bit 'over the top', but if you love the game, this is a great conversation piece. It is nearly a work of art, almost too nice to play on. If you are buying it simply to play, it's too expensive. But if you are buying it for the love of the game, and the artistry of the board, it's worth it.

Purchased as a gift. They loved it. Packaged securely and arrived in perfect condition. Children are 7 and 9 years old. Had played before by themselves and with parents. Know how to count money and read the cards. This premium board is beautiful and is being enjoyed.

Very high quality and classy design. Felt Center piece is a nice touch but gave it 4 stars as it needs to come with a cover to preserve the appearance (typical household dust would ruin the felt). Drawers that keep everything neatly tucked away when not in use need a latching mechanism to prevent them from abandoning ship when you move the board. But still very nice set.

Beautiful game. I gave it as a gift and they were thrilled. Well made and timeless.

I was horrified when I saw my package soaking wet. I rapidly unboxed the game and examined the game very carefully. It was not damaged by any water. The game board is still in pristine condition. I was a little worried about the paper surface on the game board peeling.

My family has been playing monopoly for 3 generations. Bought this set as a heirloom to be played when we come together. Love ❤️ the workmanship. Will be played and making great family memories for many years to come. I like it, I like it a lot 😃
