Best Pens Ever
I absolutely adore the Papermate Flair Pens. I have always purchased the regular (fine) point version. When I saw they had ultra fine, I had to try them. These have officially become my favorite pens ever.I am a teacher so I am able to use the fun colors for grading, and then the boring old black and blue for when I need to write anything normal.Pros:- Design: I like that the pen is silver with a colored top so I can tell these apart from the same set I have in the fine point (with those, the entire pen is the same color as the top.)- While the ink is darker than a normal ballpoint pen, it does not bleed through so you can still read if something is written on the back of a page.- They write smoothly with no skipping and they start writing on the first movement (no drawing circles in the corner to get the ink flowing!)- The life of these pens is really great compared to other brands of felt pens. They dry out eventually but I can write a LOT before it happens.- A bonus when ordering (for me) was that it came in a clear plastic holder so it keeps them all together in my bag.Cons: This style of pen will not last as long as a ballpoint pen. But that doesn't bother me because I love writing with these so much more. I wish you could buy a dozen pack of some of the more fun colors (purple, light blue, etc) in the ultra fine. I have only seen black, blue, and red.Great product, great value! I will be back to order more!

Very nice pens.
Glides nicely on paper, especially for an extra fine, and line width has been pretty consistent. I do want to note the grip is narrow and not rubberized (not uncommon with felt tip pens), but the pen is VERY light, so longer writing sessions are bearable, but you will most likely need a break now and then to relax your grip.Pros:- Glides nicely on regular notebook paper (Just noting in case you use very cheap or very expensive paper)- Extremely light- Bleeding is almost non-existent, but this will vary with the quality of the paper you use, but even on cheap paper, it was barely noticeable on the other side. Pilot's V pen marker though, will bleed through about anything, get some 24lb paper if you are going to use those; they do write super smooth though.Cons:- Grip is narrow and even with how light and smooth it can write, you will inevitably need to relax your hand once in awhile if you are used to wider barrels.BIC also makes a good felt tip marker called the BIC Intensity, and it has a wider barrel. Keep in mine though it does not smoothly transition from the outer barrel to the inner grip, it's more like a drop-off and can feel "sharp", and by sharp I mean you will know when your finger slides over it, but nothing that will cut you. The flair's glide a tiny bit smoother on paper, but the difference is tiny, and the wider barrel is nice. I've even grown to like the "edge" transition, if you rest your fingers on it the pen will definitely not slide forward :).

Great for journaling
Amazing for my journaling needs. Just make sure your paper isn’t too thin, or they will bleed.

Bright colors + smooth lines = dream pens
These are unquestionably the single greatest pens I've ever had the privilege of using. I'm pretty picky about my writing materials, so I've spent a lot of time and money trying out different pen/paper combinations. At first, I was a little hesitant to buy these, since they cost more per pen than I generally care to spend, but they have certainly turned out to be worth the investment -- I've been using these pretty exclusively for months now, and when they run dry I intend to replace them with more of the same. As a grad student, I find the selection of bright colors incredibly useful for color-coding my notes so that I can find things at a glance. The ultra fine tip lets me write delicately yet legibly in small spaces, and after several months of heavy use remains in good shape without the "fraying" you sometimes see in Sharpies, etc. I don't have a problem with the ink bleeding through the paper -- except for when I doze off in class and leave the pen touching my notes! I haven't had cause to test the water-fastness of the ink, but it certainly dries very quickly without smearing.I highly recommend these pens for people looking for a product that will make crisp, effortlessly smooth lines in vivid colors. If I had to pick one writing utensil to use for the rest of my life, it would be these.

Doesn't bleed
Use these for Bible study and they don't bleed through. I've been using the medium tip counterparts for awhile and was pumped to find fine point as space is limited. These did not disappoint. Happy buyer.

Great for Planners
I use these for my planners and typically I use the medium ones. I bought these because I liked the colors and but didn't realize until I bought them that they were the ultra fine tips. I don't mind them like that as they remind me of the sharpie brand ultra fine tips. The colors are very usable and even the yellow isn't so light it's hard to read. I will likely buy more of these in both tips as both work well for what I use them for. The only negative is that are a bit pricey for the amount you receive.

I like these pens!
Oh, these markers a just the right markers for me. I bought these for use in my planner. The color mix is fine, but I wish i bought a larger color assortment. When writing with these pens in my planner I have had no problem with bleeding though the page. The ink dries very quick, which is a plus since sometimes I only have a second to jot something then it's close it up and on my way. These pans are comfortable to write with and the ink flow is very smooth. When I tried them for coloring in my planner it seemed to get a little wet and almost went through the page. I could see the blob on the backside but it didn't quite get to the next page. I bought these mainly for writing so the coloring isn't an issue for me. I need to order more with a bigger wider variety of colors. I want them all.

Easy fix if some pens are dry ! Love these pens !
It’s true, like other reviewers said, that 2-3 pens were dried out... but it is easily fixable ! And for the price, the fix is worth a try! Just remove the cap and remove also the color part of the pen from the gray part (same movement as the cap but harder, be careful not to break the tip). Put 2-3 drop of water in the color tube and replace all parts together (the tip can turn white if water touch it but don’t worry!) Store it tip down for one night. When you first use it after the fix, draw some lines to get the ink to flow normally ! Voilà !

Pens NOT dried out. They work great :)
I like that I took a chance, regardless of so many negative reviews about how half of the pens were dried out. None of them were! I was planning to just rehydrate the felt if any were dry because it really is an easy fix and for the price, you can't beat it anywhere else. Staples and Michaels sell these markers for about $25.00, so this is a steal of a deal. I can't gaurentee that everyone won't have dry tips but I can proudly say mine were not! :)The pens work fabulous, just as I was expecting. #DontKnockItTillYaTryIt! For $12 it's worth it!

Very nice
Just received these and since I was concerned because of some other reviews, I tested them. The box was a bit floppy - not crushed but in a state where it doesn’t want to stay closed and both ends want to open with the slightest pressure from inside. Other than that the pens are in good condition. They all work perfectly, they feel nice in the hand and most cap tightly. That being said some caps, even when securely on don’t click into place and don’t seem super secure. Because of that I can see the pens potentially drying out quickly. Also, I ordered the 12 pack of ultra fine tips and the pack came with 12 different colors (no duplicates).

Good but beware dried out pens
Really like these felt tip pens but two of them arrived completely dried out. The other ones work really well, the flow of ink is good and the colours are nice. Fine tip perfect for small writing or handwriting. Would've been a five star if not for two of them being dried out.

Much thinner than I expected
My fault; I didn't read carefully and was expecting these to be fine, not ultra fine. These work well for colouring itsy-bitsy features in complex colouring pages. However, my reason for puchase was for everyday writing and they're too fine for that for me; I prefer a thicker point and had meant to order paper mate flare fine.
