I have now installed these rubber cushion feet onto an older laptop that had worn out pieces. It is working great! I agree with other reviewers that the legs do not hold onto the laptop. I think that is because the manufacturer wants the consumer to have the choice to take them off. They do stick out a bit (more height than other brands). But the height is good for air flow beneath to keep the computer cooler. Here is what I did to make the rubber pieces stick permanently. I bought some marine grade silicone and applied it to all four pieces, turned the laptop upside down, and pressed the pieces onto the bottom of the unit. I let it dry over night and now they are on permanently and it works great! I love these new feet because the front and back are different sizes so now the laptop is tilted more towards the user, sort of an ergonomic effect. All in all, this was an inexpensive fix-it project that appears to be durable and permanent.

Simple and works on some laptops.I only give it 4 stars because it doesn't adhere to the laptop easily and it doesn't work well on an XPS due to the built in rubber bar on the bottom of the laptop.

They attach for a little while on my MacBook Pro but once I slide the notebook after a short time they pop off. They do lift the back up which is what I really wanted. Just wished they stayed on. I previously used stands that had velcro which work better but the stand quality sucked cheap plastic. Take the quality of these and add velcro would make them perfect. I will try and see if I can find the round velcro strip to see if it solves my problem.

I bought these for husband's laptop and they arrived today but I wish I had read ALL the reviews first! The suction cups are useless and do not adhere to the bottom of the laptop. At the moment I have them stuck on with some Scotch removable mounting putty but we shall see if this works when the laptop is moved. Very disappointing and certainly not worth the money!

Receiving this product, I was very excited. I had finally found the perfect thing to elevate my computer to keep it cool, but it is falsely advertised. They do not suction on to the bottom of your laptop. In order to be able to use them, I have to put them on the table, then place the computer on top of them, because they do not stick at all.

Let me start by saying, I am not an idiot like a lot of these other reviewers. I can easily tell if a suction cup is going to actually stick to a surface or not. Expecting a suction cup to work on surfaces you admit are not smooth is pretty insane. I used double-sided tape to hold these on and the angle it lifts at from the little guys in front to the big guys in back is enough to help the heat go the right direction and add more air space without making my laptop to tilted.It isn't really helping the cooling at all by itself, don't expect it to as that is not a realistic expectation. It does create more space for me to direct airflow from another fan underneath it, though. That airflow helps keep my laptop fans running on fresh air and not just recycled air from around it.I only give 4 stars, because although the product works, they should have known that most laptops do not come with smooth surfaces on the bottom(except for Apple products, but you really shouldn't be buying those anymore).

The rubber feet of my Macbook Pro Retina came off and I was having trouble finding a replacement. This product was exactly what I was looking for. It elevates my computer just enough and it's super easy to use and very portable. The feet attach really easily and prevent my computer from sliding. They're also easy to detach. Highly recommend!
