These zip ties are amazing when you need something to stay put for the duration.Read a few reviews and watched a few YT reviews complaining about the tool not working right, I've believe they were user error. Works perfectly and helps get the tie tights and cuts without sharp edges.

This solves 2 issues. The tool does a fine job pulling the stainless steel ties tight and cutting them.Plastic zip ties break down in the weather after a few years. These won’t.

Once you figure out where to stick the end of the tie (through the opening at the end of the tie) and once your learn where to stick the tip of that tie (through the slit at the end, bcontrinuing through the instrument, and out the business end (all in a straight line, one just repeated squeezes the handles and the unit grabs the tie, pulling it farther each squeeze until it reaches as far as it goes, which cinches the loop tighter and tighter. Anyway...that's paraphrased. Did 5 of them and now nothing leaks from that garbage bag!

We used this to adhere fencing to T Posts. Overall the straps have a great hold and are quite snug. The attached cutter snips off the tail at the connection so no exposed edges. That’s all a pro. However the biggest problem is getting the metal straps to feed into the tool. There isn’t a lot of clearance to get the strap to slide over the clamp so you can tighten the strap up. Once you get it through you have to hold the tail of the zip tie or it slides off the clamp forcing you to reseat the zip tie in the clamp again.ProsTight connections and minimally visible.ConsNot a lot of clearance and takes a bit longer to install that you’d think it would.The ties tend to break if there is too much pressure from the clamp. Which you don’t really know is happening until it snaps.I’d purchase again, but for bigger projects, buy additional straps. The included 100 goes quickly.

We just bought a new house in the country. I use this tool and the ties for all my outside fastener needs. I attached metal art to my bull fence with this and have no more worries that the tie will degrade in the Texas sun.
