Comfortable Shape, Quality Build, Unique size.
This is my second mouse from XTRFY, I have never had issues with the first but this review will be updated if any arise. I have seen other customers report double clicking issues on XTRFY mice and have had less than stellar customer service when going through amazon. I have not experienced any of that so my review is based on the mouse I have in my hand right now. TLDR: If you are looking for a mouse that isn't tiny but a bit smaller than the G Pro Superlight; this is it. Coming from the G Pro Superlight and using the MZ1 before this, the M42 is a happy medium. At least for my hand size. Using the MZ1 and mice similarly sized is good in small doses or when playing FPS nonstop but as an MMO and Strategy gamer I appreciate being able to relax my hand more and the m42 lets me do that. With other XTRFY mice the build quality (again so far) is great. Every button and click feels crisp and sharp and the side buttons have the right amount of travel and feel. Scroll wheel has steps but still smooth enough to roll fast. The perforated shell bothers me much less than I figured especially along the thumb ridge. You can feel them but quickly forget after use, it's like that manual breathing thing. Sorry if you started doing that. Main selling point is the shape and size. Comfortable enough for palm grip with the rounded back this mouse also comes with another shell that drops the curve so if you claw grip it should be more comfortable. Lighting is decent and shines through the holes well. You can calso disable it for battery life. Another thing to note is this mouse has all hardware settings you change with clicks no software.

M42 Wireless w/ Glass Skates
Overall positive review of the M42 wireless with stock skates. I also purchased the glass skates but was very disappointed, they were significantly slower than the stock skates for some reason. Not a little bit, I really mean they were significantly slower. I contacted Xtrfy customer support to ask why their $24 glass skates performed so poorly and requested a refund. Their only answer was no, without explanation. Good mouse, just don’t waste your time or money on their glass skates. Huge rip off. Much better looking for Tiger ICE or Corepad Skatez Pro’s.

Great for small hands
I was searching around for a while for a wireless mouse that I can use. I have small hands, so with the different back plate sizing allowed me to handle the mouse with more grip. I would’ve kept this mouse if I just had more time to game, but I barely used it because of work. This is the kind of mouse you don’t just want sitting around but actually enjoying to play with. I had contacted the seller for a refund. They were nice and quick to reply and issued the refund right away.

Almost great
Very comfortable shape and I love Xtrfy's onboard controls. It has one MAJOR problem though: the mouse 5 button has a sharp outer edge, so if you grip your mouse too far up, it will constantly poke you in the thumb. I'm really not sure why they didn't just taper this button, then I would have no issues with it.

My mouse broke after just a couple of days of normal usage.
I love everything about this mouse, its low weight, solid design, shape is perfect for me, the pgdn functionality is amazing. But it just doesn't work it wont left or right click and the pgdn button presses itself! Amazon refuses to help with this; from research, i've heard that If you buy it from the xtrfy store, they'll have a better track record in quality and return policy. So I recommend buying it from there.

Responsive with a high DPI
I've extensively used the Xtrfy M42 Wireless Black gaming mouse for over a week now, and my overall experience has been quite positive. One standout feature is the wireless adapter, allowing for convenient charging by simply plugging the cord into the mouse. This design choice positions the adapter on the desk, within close reach of the mouse. Moreover, the mouse can be used as a corded device while charging, offering flexibility during extended gaming sessions. However, there are a few drawbacks worth noting. The absence of a dedicated software suite is a notable limitation. All adjustments, including lighting settings, need to be manually configured using a slider switch on the bottom and buttons on top. This manual process can be cumbersome, especially for users who frequently change their lighting preferences. It's essential to set the polling rate to the maximum to avoid a somewhat spongy feel; at the highest setting, the mouse feels notably snappy. Additionally, adjusting the sensitivity to the minimum or a step or two above is recommended for optimal performance. Despite these minor inconveniences, the mouse delivers excellent performance, providing a satisfying feel, and the battery life has proven reliable during extended use. However, the pricing may be a deterrent, considering the absence of first-party support typically offered by more prominent brands. At a price point of $100, it seems a bit steep, but if you come across a sale, it could justify the purchase. Recently acquiring the Xtrfy M42 Wireless Black gaming mouse, I've been thoroughly impressed by its performance and features. This mouse embodies the ideal balance between top-tier wireless performance and a reasonable price point, even when compared to pricier alternatives. Its lightweight design ensures comfort during extended usage, and the wireless connectivity functions seamlessly. The impressive battery life extends gaming sessions substantially before requiring a recharge. Equipped with six programmable buttons, the mouse allows for versatile customization to suit various gaming needs. The maximum DPI of 16,000 contributes to precise and swift cursor movements. The RGB lighting, adding a visually appealing touch to the overall design, enhances the gaming experience. Notably, the mouse is ambidextrous, and the inclusion of weights caters to users who prefer a heftier feel for improved accuracy. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Xtrfy M42 Wireless Black gaming mouse for those seeking a dependable and customizable wireless gaming solution. However, it may be overkill for casual users and gamers.
