Very efficient!
I wrote this off a year ago as the less attractive choice compared to a linear voltage regulator that had a built in on/off switch. Using a 12V 5A 5.2Ah battery, I can run a pi 5 and a screen for two hours with the LVR. With this Buck converter, it runs well past four. I have yet to run out the battery on the Buck converter (I recharge after shutting down). Thatโs a wild difference in runtime! Very efficient for stepping down voltage! The screw terminals are easy to use. Just put stripped wires into the correct ports, score down until right, then youโre good to go!

Extremely reliable, running a 50W load for months
This step-down converter has been absolutely fantastic for my application. I have been using it in a demo setup pulling around 50W, and it has been running reliably for almost six months. The demo does not run continuously every day, but it gets used regularly and I have not had to replace the converter or troubleshoot any issues with it during that time. The 5V output has been dependable under the load I am using. For a relatively inexpensive DC-DC converter, I am very impressed with the reliability. I originally wasn't sure how well it would hold up long-term, but after several months of use I have been very happy with it. I would definitely buy another one for similar projects.

Good product
Powers a Pi5 with low voltage warning but seems to still run well.

Insufficient output
I purchased this drop voltage from 24V to 5-volts for a Bitaxe Gamma device that uses 5 amps of current (25W). Sadly, the output under load is 4.7 volts, lower than my device can safely use. I previously tried the 10A version, and it managed to give me 4.8v after lowering the clock speed on the gamma.

I use these in quite a few projects
These step down regulators really work well. I have used them in both solar and industrial applications. The price is great and they provide a lot of value for the money. These little buck converters are super easy to install and very durable as well.

works good
Used this to knock down the voltage of a small 24V solar panel to 12V. The solar panel is then hooked up to a 12V battery to keep it trickle charged. Worked great for my application.

Not powerful enough for the pi 5
Bought this for the raspberry pi 5 and its not giving even the 5 amps the pi requires and this is supposed to be 10 amps. Very disappointed.
