Snapfon ezTWO Tuff Case (Purple)

Trying to review the phone itself (but that's not an option Amazon?) It's a very basic phone. Actually makes it a bit of a challenge to set it up if you're a smartphone user. This was purchased for a friend with dementia. The best feature is "secure calling" where you can set it up to call ONLY the numbers that are programmed into the phone. It fits in the palm of your hand. It has space for a lanyard so it won't get lost or fall to the floor. It suits our needs perfectly.Buy the case, too. It is made for the Snapfon ezTwo. We were able to write our friend's name on it with a sharpie marker. It adds a nice amount of 'grip' to the phone for those whose hands don't work as well as they once might have.And buy the charging cradle. You need to remove a sleeve inside the cradle for the phone to fit inside with the case on. Great product.

Why wouldn't you? Case fits the Snapfon perfectly. I was worried that the case didn't have a cutout on the left side of the case corresponding to the volume controls on the phone. Turns out it doesn't matter. The volume control rocker button is covered up but still functions fine. Is the case necessary? I totally recommend the case because the phone by itself is a slippery plastic object. The case provides a nice grippy surface which gives your elderly parent a better chance of holding onto and not dropping the phone. The case also provides extra protection from the bumping and banging of the phone as it hangs from the lanyard around your parent's neck. Of course, the case provides more protection in the event the phone is dropped.

This phone works well for my mom who has hearing aids and dementia. The ONLY thing I don't like about it - the lowest setting for sound is still very loud. So if she wants to keep her phone on "low" it would ring for others to hear - would prefer a very low setting like other cell phones. Otherwise it works well in terms of being "intuitive" for an elderly person with dementia.

This is a very nice case for the phone. It adds a layer of protection from drops and scratches and also makes it easier to grip. One of the biggest drawbacks of this phone is that it is too easy to turn the ringer volume up and down while holding the phone with the position of the up / down buttons on the side. This case helps to solve that problem by making it more difficult to press the buttons on the side. If you are considering buying the phone or experience that problem I would highly recommend this case.

Great case. Fits nicely and everything is still accessible.In a dream world, I wish some of the cutouts were not pre-punched. Why do I say that? Well it's a cell phone designed for seniors, and sometimes they accidentally slide or push buttons they didn't really want to. If the access tabs were lightly punched but not removed, that would allow you to preset the volume and never have it accidentally turned down, while letting you remove the sections you want to control.I am NOT docking any stars for this, I realize what I am suggesting is over-and-above.

Bought this for my mom's Snapfon thinking it would offer some "bumper" protection but all this does is cover the back & sides of the phone. It does have the appropriate areas open for device settings. I did have some difficulty getting the darned thing on, it's quite tight & I won't be removing anytime soon. So now her phone's got a purple case & that's about it. Offers no protection at all. Does make it easier to find in handbag with purple color & lanyard attachment!

Marketing greed necessitates things like these. Any phone, be it an I or E or whatever, is made of materials that demand 'extras' to hold, use and keep safe. For the money this case offers a modicum of safety and is absolutely necessary to hold and use the device it is made for.

Fit well, nice color for my mom, shame became brittle and broke by volume, lasted Almost a year.
