I would not waste the time or money buying this particular item
Bought this and spent more to buy it on Amazon with rush shipping because my daughter needed it for her dorm room. The top shelf was damaged with 2 of the opposite corners smashed so you could see all the particle board. After deciding that we had no choice but to keep it we found that putting it together was a real challenge. The holes didn't line up to secure all the screws but again we just didn't have a choice but to continue to hope that rigging it would suffice. Not sure if this will fall apart after using it, but it was vital for storage purposes until I can get another unit. I would not waste the time or money buying this particular item. The concept is great, but it's cheap.

Easy to put together.My 1st year college student loves it.Frig fits on top great.Room to store bowls,cups and bags of chips.
