Mitten Keeper - Best One-Piece Mitten Clips (Pink)

I find that mitten clips that are one long cord instead of two short ones hold my little guy's mittens much more securely. They can't fall off the coat, only be pulled through, so losing one mitten becomes very unlikely. The clips on the strap hold the mitten tightly; we haven't had one fall off all winter. My little guy is a 2T, so the strap is a little too long, even on the tightest setting. I solved this by tying a knot in the center of the string. I will just untie it when he grows a little. I expect to be able to use this great cord for years.

Its a little long even in the shortest position for a size 18 month winter coat. I wish I'd bought the individual clips instead as this hangs down too much and doesn't help to keep the mittens on the little hands. I think a shorter tether would make it harder to take off the mittens.

Held the mittens well, but my son did not like the way it pulled at his neck/back of the coat when the weight of his heavy snow-proof gloves were attached at both ends through the sleeves. Kind of cinched the coat together, if you will. We ended up using the mitten clips that only attach at the end of each sleeve, not run all the way through the coat. They did hold the mittens/gloves well, but my son would not wear it, so it's a no for us.

These are great! Haven't lost a single mitten since. Came back on Amazon to order another one so we can have two sets of mittens.
