NECA Godzilla Classic Series 1 - '94 Godzilla - 12" Head to Tail Action Figure

First of all for this price point if you don't have a 1994 Godzilla in your collection, you won't be disappointed with this figure. Mine came with a loose arm and I had to heat up the tail section to put that on, I also have an eye that was not painted very well, even with those flaws I give this 5 stars. It makes my figure unique as the figure still looks very good, as to the eye you have to get up close to even really notice that you have an issue and as for the arm I fixed that already and he looks and moves better than he did. Well done Neca, the paint on this figure is very well done as the green only shows up under certain lighting conditions and makes this figure really look cool. The articulation is very good and Yes you will have to use the hair dryer on some spots as he will be a little stiff, overall though I am very pleased with this figure and would recommend it for your collection. I was on the fence about this one for a long time and I can tell you that I'm glad I took the plunge and added this one to my collection. Can't beat the price for what you get here. Based on Godzilla's appearance in Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla, NECA has a solid figure in this release. The sculpt is great, even if it's not as screen accurate as NECA's 2014 Godzilla. For some reason NECA used some blue-green highlight on the paint. This is especially noticeable on the claws since they were yellow in film. Also I do find the tail to be loose and easily pops off. However it is bendable so there is some additional possibility. The sculpt is also great at conveying the bulk of the design. Overall this a great and affordable figure to have in your collection.

First of all. The biggest flaw for me is the colors. The tail isn't very articulated but the rest of the figure makes up for it. Its sort of screen accurate but not really. When I got it out of the box it was very stiff. But it got loose over time. Overall a good figure. I'd get it if I were you.

I know this figure isn't a very accurate portrayal of the '94 Godzilla, but I just can't help but like this figure. I think it's probably because it kind of resembles the '89 or '91 Godzilla, which I really like. It's got pretty good articulation and a decent paint job (not a big fan of the green highlights, but whatever, guess). I know people will probably have a problem with the sculpt's accuracy to the suit, but personally, it's grown on me, so I have no problem with it. Well actually, I wouldn't mind a longer tail without the bendy wire, but that's probably not going to happen with the NECA line possibly due to the low price, but regardless, I think I can live with how it is now. I think for the price, this is a great figure. It's obviously not going to be shma quality, so don't expect similar quality from a $20 figure. If you're interested in good-looking, cheaper alternatives to shma, then the NECA Godzilla line may be the way to go.

1994 Godzilla is great, however, the one I got had a loose lest arm ball-joint. It still works and holds because all it needed on mine is to be put in deeper into its socket. Has great articulation and detail. The tail is a bend wire so it's easier for anyone to pose it as you want to fit into a shelf or to play with. The paint job is great as well. At first it looks just black, but when you put a flash light on it you can see hints of green.

This Neca 94' Godzilla is part of my childhood in one package. Nothing is extremely perfect and it did take a bit of effort to pose him, but the details and sculpt are awesome. If I had to mention any improvements it would be the lower jaw should be a bit shorter, the legs more sturdy, and the tail should be more sectioned not rubber wired.

I gave this as christmas present, and I was impressed by the amount of detail in the figurine. The art box was quite nice as well. Overall I was satisfied with the purchase. If you are a fan of Godzilla, I highly recommended.
