A great therapy tool
I got these to work with neurodiverse children and those who are on the Autistic spectrum as some prefer to communicate feelings using visual symbols. the children like them as the colours and symbols are great and the fan is easy to carry and use. Overall, they are great value for money and a useful tool.

Wide range
This is a set of emotion cards on a lanyard, they're joined with a clip which allows you to alter the amount of emotions on there to target your need. The lanyard itself is easy to clip on or off and also comes with a safe closure which allows it to pop open if your lanyard is pulled. The only thing 2 things I find is that happy and calm or only mildly different (colour and slight difference in eyebrow) and that the emotion cards themselves are made of a type of shiny card that are actually very easily ripped.Overall this could be a very helpful tool for some adults and children.

Well-made, a useful product for my autistic son with speech delay.
This emotion face fan has been a game-changer for my autistic son with speech delay. This product is not only colourful and eye-catching but also incredibly well made. It's double laminated and made from thick paper, which means it can handle a bit of wear and tear and can be easily cleaned, making it perfect for daily use.The main reason I got this for my son was to help him express his emotions to his teachers at school. Sometimes, he finds it challenging to convey how he's feeling verbally, which can lead to misunderstandings. However, with this emotion fan, he can effortlessly point to the emotion he's experiencing at any given moment. It's become an invaluable tool in helping him communicate effectively with his teachers and even with his friends. My son absolutely loves wearing this fan to school. It's not just a practical tool but also a source of comfort for him. Knowing he has a way to express himself has boosted his confidence, and it's heartwarming to see how well it's working for him.All in all, this emotion fan has been an incredibly useful and well-loved addition to our daily routine. It has made a significant difference in my son's ability to communicate his feelings, and I highly recommend it to anyone in a similar situation.

Not “double laminated” as they claim
We just received these cards today, and I wanted to really love them because they are beautiful and colorful, but with a nonverbal toddler, these did not last even one day. My 2.5 year old immediately put them in his mouth and drooled on them, within 2 minutes, the entire card was soaked through and cardboard became darkened. I was confused because it thought it was laminated but they are clearly not. Then after my son played with them, he managed to actually tear one of the cards in half - yeah- definitely not laminated and a misleading advertisement to get someone to buy a falsely advertised product. I ended up having to request a refund through Amazon, and will be purchasing actually laminated emotions cards through another company. You can tell they’re laminated because they have a thin plastic border along the outside, these do not, these are simply just shiny card paper that they presented as “laminated” to fool other people into charging them £8-9. I only gave one star for the faces and design and key ring, it would have not withstood daily use even without a toddler drooling on them. Waste of time.

Great for developing emotional literacy.
As a Nursery Practitioner I am always excited to be offered for review any toys and resources which I can share with the children in my 2 - 3 playroom. This set of emotion cards are great for exploring our feelings. I like the fact they are strung on a lanyard as they can be worn daily and used as a visual prompt and communication link. The fan is pretty simple, which is perfect for the age I work with, featuring coloured faces with expressions and a written explanation - Happy, Sad, Scared etc. These are useful for children who cannot or choose not to use their words to express how they feel, and are useful for children who have English as a foreign language. The colours link nicely to the emotions - red for angry, blue for sad and so on. I would use these alongside the book "The Colour Monster" to explore our emotions and develop an awareness of the feelings of others. Supplied by a small UK based business, these are a really valuable resource which I am very happy with.

Great to help with communication
My daughter struggles with her emotions and communication at school and home so I thought this fan would be a great way to help her explain her feelings to teachers etc when things were getting on top of her.It is an emotions fan, that has a range of different emotions and emoji faces that are attached to a lanyard to help her to carry it around when she needs it.The lanyard has a quick release clasp so great safety feature to reduce risk of it snagging around her neck. They feel fairly strong laminated plastic, but don't have any sharp edges etc.My daughter likes the bright colours and simple emotion pictures and has found it useful to explain her mood to her teachers etc when she doesn't know how to put it into words. Very useful for different activities.
