J Beverly HillsPlatinum Detail Texturizing Paste with Beeswax for Semi Gloss Finish, 2 Oz

I used this paste as a setting product for my curls. I am a Tigi Bedhead Manipulator fan from way back and I never expected to find a product I liked as well, if not better, than my old standby. I was so pleasantly surprised by this product!A little bit goes a long way. I have a LOT of hair, and I used two dime-sized amounts, rubbed onto my hands and between my fingers, to gently coat my curls and waves.It adds great weightless, invisible hold. My hair is bouncy and still touchable soft. And this paste helps keep it looking great all day.I was a bit hesitant to love this product because of the price, but I end up using far less of it than I use of the Manipulator, so the cost works out to be roughly the same. Plus, this stuff isn't sticky or gummy feeling at all, so it's got an edge on my Manipulator in the overall texture department, definitely.I am super happy with this product. It works great for my hair. I'm a big fan.

I recently cut my hair into a shorter pixie and wanted to actually try out the TIGI pomade, however I was curious about using the TIGI manipulating paste and when one of the reviews said this was very similar and better, I decided to get this to try out. First off, the scent isn't bad. It's light and possibly floral? It's almost a clean floral scent if that makes sense but not in a bad way. Both men and women can use this in my opinion. It's thick for sure but doesn't dry hard in your hair. I've only used it once so far and like dampening my hair and adding a little bit of water to the paste. It's great for creating a messy sort of look (which when my curly hair does what it wants anyway, comes in handy to mess with it a tad bit). The size of the container is somewhat small but not in a lip scrub sort of way. If you're using it for shorter hair I think it will last a long while. Overall, I quite like it! I haven't used the tigi manipulating paste so I can't compare them.

The product, Detail Texturizing Paste, arrived on time and in the amount advertised. However, I was hoping to be able to purchase "Souvage, finishing texture paste." I have used Souvage for over 15 years and have been very satisfied with it. I have no idea why it was discontinued but I am disappointed that it was. Detail works ok but it does not have the same consistency and is not even close to the product Souvage is. I will be asking my stylist at my next appointment to suggest a product like Souvage. It is doubtful I will purchase Detail again.

I am not at all loyal to hair styling products so I end up trying a lot of them, but this one may become my new go-to. My hair can tend to be soft so sometimes its hard to style because it just doesn't want to hold a shape, but this paste gives it just enough texture so I can get a nice lift (and then I spray the f out of it so it stays that way!) I'm really enjoying the look I'm getting from this product... like I said, I can definitely see myself getting some more of this.

I have all the time baby hair all over and it is kind of annoying when I wants to have a perfect hairstyle.I tried this hair product and it actually works pretty well,holds all the unwanted hair in place without making it greasy or sticky.
