Off Grid Tools OGT-SABLKNYS Survival Axe Nylon Sheath, Black

Had I known that the Off Grid Survival Axe already came with a leather type sheath (it wasn't noted as being included in the product description), I wouldn't have wasted $$ on this one. First, because I have to wrestle the axe into it, whereas the sheath that came with the tool fits like a glove. Secondly, the belt loop on this sheath is too small for most belts like those used for handguns, which are generally thicker and 1-3/4" width. But I'll keep it as a spare, superfluous tho it might be.

Worth the price as the sheath that comes with the hatchet is pretty weak. I think OGT should just dump the trashy sheath they are sending with the hatchet and send this one, even if they raised the price a little. The one they ship with the hatchet is really a waste any way you look at it.

Had a tough time at first getting to fit over the ax head, did take a bit of work and stretching to get it to fit. The cover is definitely a heavier duty product than the one that came with the ax.

Good sheath, seems well made. Just kinda hard to get the tool out as it seems to get hung up on the edges.

Fits perfectly but it's a little expensive.

Ordered it because I read reviews saying it didn't come with one. I think the Survial Axe that is Made in America is great and I gave a 5 star review. This sheath is Made in China and does not fit the Survival Axe.
