Basilica Botanica Garden Hose Nozzle - Best for Car Wash

Honestly, it somehow broke after a month or two. Someone probably rolled over it with a car, though it's possible someone broke it by careless dropping it on the pavement. Not sure. While using it, I felt the most powerful setting wasn't as powerful as I wanted it to be. I wish I had gotten one of those all brass high pressure nozzles which would have avoided both problems.I might have given this four stars... but my actual intention was to simply not review it at all since I didn't get to use it for that long. The reason I'm reviewing it as that their customer service won't stop harassing me about reviewing the product. I've gotten a handful of emails since buying it, and yesterday I got a phone call! The lady was very nice and gave me a 5 dollar off coupon, but how the hell did they get my cell phone number in the first place? Does Amazon provide customer phone numbers to manufacturers? That is crossing a line as far as I'm concerned. If I got calls like this for every product I didn't review, I'd be very, very angry.

At this point, I'm saying "So far, so good." We've had a lot of rain, and I haven't had to use the spray nozzle very much, but so far it's fine. I would have given five stars, but I felt there should have been a rubber washer in the connection, to further eliminate leaks. I removed one from an old sprayer and it fit, so the potential problem is solved. I'm reserving a final opinion for about August, when I'll be doing a lot of watering. The other sprayers I've had worked fine too, at first, but didn't hold up. After seeing this one, and noting the apparently superior construction, I'm expecting it to continue to work very well. At that point, I'd forget all about that little washer and give it five stars.

I searched fairly exhaustively for a garden hose nozzle that was not junk and would not fall apart after one season. I was not keen on spending a lot either. My investigation led me to this product which I bought and have loved. This unit is on its third season and I was so pleased I bought a second so I didn't have to switch it out from hose to hose around the property. It is extremely sturdy with lots of settings that are just right for different plants and situations (e.g., gentle soak up close, power spray arcing far away). Neither has ever leaked or broken or gotten stuck when I try to thread or unthread. I use them to wash the house, screens and windows, the car, the bird baths, flower beds and the shrubs. I think you will be very satisfied with this unit too for many years to come.

I bought the nozzle about 3 months ago, I was tired of the cheap plastic ones leaking and breaking. It does cost a lot but I thought that I would give it a try to see if it worked better than the plastic ones. So far it works okay, it does leak at the connection to the hose but that could be the hose itself. Other than that the spray patterns are working fine. It has a nice feel to it and it is comfortable to use. If it lasts more than one season I will be happy.

The Basilica Botanica Heavy Duty Spray Nozzle looks very good and is of excellent quality. It feels very comfortable in my hand. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the following. It does not have a feature that you can use to lessen the water pressure when you fist initiate use. Other models from various manufactures have this feature at a far lesser price. The overall operation of this nozzle does not warrant the significantly higher coast.

I thought the heavy construction would make this last, however it lasted for about 5 months and then fell apart. The hinge on the trigger has a metal "pin" that holds it in place. This pin wore and it fell out, thus the nozzle became useless. There is a way to replace that I'm sure, but seeing that I paid nearly $30 I believe this is unacceptable.I'm surprised and disappointed because the nozzle is heavy. It really seems like it would work fine, but evidently cannot hold up to heavy use. There was no leaking when it did work, although one of the settings didn't function well.I just bought a new one from another brand and hopefully that'll work for us. I do hope others have a better experience, but based on mine I cannot recommend this product. Especially for someone that uses their hose nearly every day or if it's not used gingerly each time.

This Spray Nozzle is very rugged. The spray patterns are the usual found on such devices and not that different from other similar products. What I really like is that it takes very little force to squeeze the trigger, much less than other nozzles and this feature will be of use to those with arthritis in their hands. Recently, mine lost the ability to shut off. The seller has replaced it free of charge. I will have to see if the replacement nozzle, which I really like, will last for the long-run.

I have been using the Basilica Botanica Nozzle for just a few weeks but it seems to be sturdier than other, less expensive nozzles. It does drip a little bit at the hose connection at the base of the nozzle, but it's not that bothersome. I've had much worse. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. The spray adjustment works well and the nozzle delivers a good spray from any of the settings. The fact that it is heavier than cheaper models is a plus.
