I partially blame myself for this purchase because I usually not only take harder looks at products, but never buy anything below 70 percent overall rating and even then, I make a final decision based on the 1 star reviews because those are your most honest reviews.I needed a cam fast and rushed into this one without looking hard at it.For starters, the images show the cam connected to a phone or pad. Never in a million years I would have guessed you need a usb port on your freaking phone! I don't no anyone that has a usb port on their phone or pad and I know people who have expensive hand-held devices. So no phone connection.Secondly, the sd-card port is not the standard, it's actually a size up from the standard, which sucks because I have extra stanard sd-cards, even the adaptor for the larger ones, but not the mid size ones this cam needs.Lastly, you can not connect it to a PC, it will not be recognized, which means you can not use other IP cam software with the camera.So basically I have a camera I can do nothing with. I've been with Amazon for at least 20 years and I've said maybe several products at the most were my worst buys...but this IP cam takes number one! It is one of the WORST products on Amazon! No thought was given to its design or usage what so ever! Maybe this is the thing in china where it was made but not in the good old U,S, of A buddy!Take it down Amazon! It's fraud!Aug 29 2022 Update....Had to buy a usb port addon for my phone/pad.The camera can not stay charged long. It does not last 24 hours; maybe an hour at best. You will have to keep it plug in an outlet and charging if you want it to work 24-7. No desktop software options and you really don't know what the app is doing....it could be sending video to Asia, where the crappy camera was made.This is really one of the worst products on Amazon and I DO NOT write bad reviews about a product unless it is truly garbage and this camera is beyond garbage! Take it outta the store Amazon, it's fraud!

It works ok for money. Negative side, to see video, you need to be connected on the same wifi router with uyoy phone

Camera is not that small. It will be seen if you do not become creative on how to hide it. The instructions are not that easy to understand. I have not been able to try it out yet because of that problem.

I bought this about week ago and up to now I’ve not been able to get any good use out of it. Initially I bought to keep track of a blind spot in my warehouse but the network that I have runs on the 5mhz frequency and this doesn’t work with that; understandable. So I thought I would be able to use locally. Boy was I wrong. This thing is hell to connect to locally as the Wi-Fi transmission is inconsistent. The light will flash as if it is in discoverable mode but that’s not always the case. When you do connect and you finally get a feed, the app freezes up after a while. Additionally, it does not record without an active link ( at least from my experience) so if the device is not constantly connected and the app is running in the foreground, there is no recording.After finding all this out, I decided to take it home to try it in an environment is was supposedly made for. Let me tell you now, It ain’t made for that either. I’m running on the right Wi-Fi frequency, I follow the instructions and it would always fail at the registration process; stating an unknown error and to try again. I thought maybe it’s because I’m using IOS. So, I try it on my android tablet and it gets worse. I can’t even pass the “connect camera page” because it keeps prompting me to “turn location services on”. It’s already on! The app prompts you to give it that access from time you first open it!This camera is a mess. Buy at your own risk. Some people claim to have good experience so I chuck it up as being a hit or miss. For me, it’s a miss; big time.

Great little camera for security or as a nanny cam. Being magnetic on the back and having the magnetic holder makes it super easy and fast to put up anywhere

For the price this is a good buy

Camera does not have a wide viewing angle and the battery dies very fast

Couldn’t get it to work on my iPhone so I sent it back and got something different.
