Heinz White Vinegar (64 fl oz Jug)

Looks like a gallon. Nope, It's a half gallon. And way to expensive. You can get a gallon of vinegar just about anywhere for less.

Pictures make this look like a full gallon jug;It's not. My bad for not reading the description closer, but they should make it clear up front.On top of that they just threw it sideways in a box and it leaked.Not much of a bargain.

I ordered this several times since it is part of the buy 5 get $6 off shipping. I usually order from that to cut shipping costs. The product is perfectly fine. I use it in the rinse cycle of my washing machine to ensure all the soap is out of my laundry. I am a bit discouraged that even though I am a prime member and prime pantry is for prime members we have to pay extra for shipping or an extra monthly fee. This time I ordered two, one gallon bottles of vinegar (these are 2 quart bottles) from Wal-martcom for 2.48 per bottle. They are not of the Heinz brand but that isn't important to me. By spending 35.00 I received FREE two day shipping. I am a long time Amazon Prime customer, but expense is an issue when shopping.

Its vinegar. but the deduction is for the packaging when Amazon tries to ship it. After two busted leaking jugs the 3rd one arrived intact. The cheesy lid is the problem. This $3 jug of vinegar ruined $100+ in merchandise.

leaked all over my peanut butter crackers inside of the box during shipment but the vinegar is pretty good, or what was left inside of the bottle anyway

Post hurricane Florence - we mixed bleach and peroxide and sprayed on the mold in our home. We lost over half of our house, all 3 vehicles and an enormous amount of "stuff". But stuff can be replaced and luckily we all made it out alive and well. These items arrived quickly...

I left 2 stars instead of 1 because I didn't check the ounces on this. I've never seen 64 oz of vinegar at any grocery store. This looks like a gallon in the picture and the price is reflective of a gallon. This is too expensive for 64 oz.Also, there was a small leak from the vinegar on the side of the box so everything in the box smells like vinegar but isn't wet. The packing wasn't that great. Everything had obviously moved around resulting in rounded corners on tetra boxes of coconut milk and dented bag tea boxes.

First off, I purchased this based on the ingredients listed on the web page which was misleading. This white vinegar is made from corn and in the ingredients listed on the page it indicates various vegetables. My bad. The other problem is the bottle. Even when they taped the cap to prevent leaking -- it didn't work. There was some leakage; however, not enough to contact Amazon for a refund. I won't be buying this product again because of the problem with the cap and shipping. Not worth taking the risk of having a soggy mess delivered to my front door.
