The paper instruction has overexposed pictures, so bright one can't see anything. The video is too fast-paced and the angle couldn't be worst from the THIRD piece assembled. The hands of the person combining elements are literally covering the product. I watched it several times and paused a million (and pausing made the view darkened; again, not helpful) to no avail. The further, the worse - both the video and the paper instructions. Disappointed, I returned the item.

I was really excited to get this product as I wanted it for a light fitting. It arrived with a small booklet. There’s no written instructions for building it or diagrams, just unclear photographs. I went onto YouTube where I found their instructional video, but it’s super fast, not clear, if you pause it you still can’t see what’s going on and there’s no captions. I’ve essentially wasted my money because I can’t build this.

I am a very patient, creative person who loves puzzles, so assembly didn't put me off, I bought two for one room. I was a naive idiot. The instruction video goes so fast is very hard to figure out, so ready your finger for multiple (2000ish) pauses, I looked online and found an alternative video which was just as bad, someone was having a laugh at my expense, the paper instructions were impossible to work out with just stage by stage blurry photos and no wording. Each time I was interrupted I had to start again as it was hard to see where I was, so when a delivery came I wanted to cry. To put two together took over 9hrs... I was invested so I had to finish, but omg I hated them nearly as much as my ex husband by the time they were made!! The pieces are a durable thin matte plastic (feels like the cheap plastic place mats) and my hands hurt after from pulling the bits through holes. After I had made them, I had to undo a section and slide it over the light bulb, then fix the section blind (as it's facing the ceiling) and one handed (other hand is holding it in place) which I feel is 'stage 2' of the puzzle. There is no fixing included, so I wouldn't put this over anything other than an led bulb or it may melt? Since installing the shades one has falls down every couple of days, because the section keeps slipping undone, making this the gift that just keeps on giving!Only buy this if you want it on your sideboard, have a spare day, the patience of a saint, love puzzles, and have strong hands, you have to be firm with the plastic, it's more robust than it looks, each section needs to click into place with no gaps, and after the initial section, it's basically a case of creating multiple five pronged flowers all over. The shades do look nice, a bit like a flock of seagulls having a fight, but in a good way! They look even nicer when on, unless they have fallen off, then they don't. The perfect gift for someone you despise.

Absolutely travesty. Cut out shapes of plastic, instructions hopeless, worse purchase ever made on Amazon. Returning it.

Save your money I think someone with a degree in origami couldn't figure this out!!

Impossible to put together no real instructions. There is no way that's a lampshade. Very disappointed.

I bought for my son, he and his girlfriend are still trying to figure out how to do it, 2 months later !!!

When assembled, this makes a symmetrical ball with no holes. To get a ceiling light inside it, you'd have to insert the last few pieces standing on a chair, and I'm not even sure that would work. Then when the bulb popped, you'd have to disassemble it. They don't specify a wattage, and if you put an old style tungsten bulb inside I suspect it would melt because there's no airflow. I think that selling this as a lampshade is illegal for both description and safety reasons.

Trotz Anleitung und Youtube war es nicht möglich, diese Lampe zusammen zu bauen.

D’abord charmé par le style de ce lustre, j’ai vite déchanté quand j’ai dû le monter.Impossible ! Le simple livret ou la vidéo ne suffise pas. Très compliqué.C’est dommage, mais je déconseille.

Mi spiace perché non scrivo quasi mai recensioni ma questo articolo lo merita tutto.Foglio istruzioni MANCANTE! Tramite il video per il montaggio, velocizzato oltretutto, non si capisce nulla. Sarebbe stato utile mettere dei segni/simboli all’interno delle linguette per capire come assemblarlo. Sono 4 giorni che provo e arrivo nemmeno a metà. Come lo tocchi si lascia andare. Pessimo acquisto.

I watched the horrible instruction video what feels like a hundred times. Slowed down to x0.25 speed because for some idiotic reason the original footage is sped up.Even if you manage to decipher the moves required from the shoddy angle it was filmed at, the pieces don’t stay together. I made it to piece 10-15 so many times, only to have one of the first pieces pop out. Then when you attempt to put that piece back in, the whole thing falls apart.I’ve decided to put this in the cupboard for a few days and then have another run at it.If I have one more failed attempt at this right now I swear I’m going to set the damn thing on fire.
