We've had ours for a year. Such a great purchase. It helped our dog lower his volume while we lived in an apartment complex. Now that we have a house, he is back to barking loudly and a LOT. Haha. We used it on ourselves. It is not painful, but it was effective.

Never ever using this again. This thing glitched for the last time and sent my dog into a frantic panic when he wasn't even barking; all he did was sneeze!It kept going off as soon as he sneezed. I ran to him and put my hand in between the collar and his neck so it would shock me instead. He was so scared and I regret ever buying this.I am angry that this was made so carelessly. Do not buy this.

Love how you can pick the settings for what you would prefer your animal to feel .. I put it on my arm to see how much I should use in strength after a few times and my dog getting the hang of it .. She will bark but it's not constantly just a one time bark it does do what I want a quiet dog .. Let's be realistic she is a dog they do bark so don't set it so high to make a dog aggression issues.. It is designed to stop after one bark (the dog not the collar ) not have a yappy dog. Charges up quick and last for days before you need to recharge. Take it off when they are sleeping so they don't make snoring sounds. I turn it off when we are walking around other dogs they will set it off with there bark but my dog still thinks it's on.. Lol

We have a Great Pyrenees and he could literally bark nonstop all day if we let him. We have tried a couple other collars and bark deterrents (including ones that are much more expensive than this collar) with no effect. This collar actually works. We like that it doesn't seem to hurt him but bothers him enough that he knows not to bark when he's wearing it. HOWEVER, we are on our 3rd or 4th order of this same collar because it only lasts for about 8-9 months before it stops working completely--hence why I didn't give this 5 stars.

These work great .we lost one under 4 ' ft of snow found in spring plugged in and kept on working had them for 2 yrs now .no problems . as with any thing it takes a bit to get the adjustment numbers perfect . then silent bliss .dog can still bark but knows when warning beep goes off to stop.

This probably saved my dog from being taken away by animal control. Incessant barking was The collar threw her instantly and she has learned not to bark otherwise the collar will activate. We did have to set it to beep and vibrate but have never had to use the electrical shock portion. I am glad we have it if we ever need it.Great product.

I like I can turn the shock off and just do vibrations, it hold a charge for more then 5 days, I have 2 of these collars. One is for a 75lb dog and the other is on a 12lb dog, I would totally recommend.

I purchased this collar for my small dachshund. She barks through the night, and we needed something to help. The collar is supposed to learn her bark and only go off when she barks, but we have not been able to get the product to work. I've tried multiple sensitivity levels, and I find that it sometimes goes off when she whines, sometimes when she barks (but only occassionally), and most times it does not go off at all. We've tried to be patient with this product and keep adjusting it until it worked, but we've given up now.
