I went in the basement in the room that needed it and it took the musty smell away. it is very absobant! I have been using it for 3 weeks and working great. There is barely any scent, which is what I wanted. I never used anything like this, but now that I have I will continue use. I don't know how long 1 container lasts but it seems like it will last a couple months or so. Extremely easy to use. Just pour it in and let it work it's magic! I will buy again!

Wow! I needed a moisture absorber for the closet and basement and I am so glad I found this! I could instantly tell the difference. I had been noticing some of my clothes getting a scent that is common to moisture in a wardrobe and just a couple of hours of use of this absorber and it's all gone!The instructions for setting everything up are clear and I faced no problem with it whatsoever.If you are looking for something to keep certain spaces in the house fresh and moisture free look no further!

This actually works, keeping my bathroom bone dry.Update: Bought this product October 7, 2020 from Amazon. com and started to use soon after in same month. Just changed them today, April 24, 2022.The bathroom was kept bone dry as stated, but today I saw moisture on the toilet and so changed. Otherwise, there was no moisture at all during the period from October 2020 to April 24, 2022.PS. used one in bathroom and one in hall leading to bathroom.

I’ve been buying the disposable version of this brand for a while. They’ve been working well at a fraction of the cost of store bought name brands. The old disposable ones were smaller and shaped like a trapezoid making them good for narrow areas. These new ones are larger and cylindrical. I recommend these based on the quality and value.

I was happy to find these Vacplus Moisture Absorber Buckets. What I loved the most was the paper covering which prevented any of the dehumidifier moisture salts from spilling out like another brand I’ve used for years. This box comes with 3 buckets & 6 bags of moisture absorber bags. Obviously 3 I filled immediately & put to use. They do a great job of collecting moisture. Once it was time to change I had a bag to fill it again with. The downside here, which is why I won’t buy these again, is once I use the extra 3 bags they give you the buckets are no longer of value. This is a shame & waste of a plastic bucket that gets 2 uses out of it. The price seems ok for 6 uses but after that they are of no use. I love this concept but it’s unfortunate. I searched the Vacplus store on Amazon for refillable bags & they aren’t sold individually. So rather than waste the bucket I’ll revert to the brand I was using in which I can buy refillable bags of moisture absorber & fill these buckets with that. I’m still benefiting from the purpose & most importantly preventing spills due to the paper covering. It’s a shame Vacplus doesn’t sell individual bags. This decreases the value of the money I spent. The brand I was using is cost effective with refillable salt bags at a great value. The bucket unfortunately doesn’t have the paper coveting. So these 3 buckets I’ll continuously put to good use. This is a heads up in purchasing these. A one time box deal unless you’re aware of what I’m doing. This reflects my 3 star. Bottom line-Vacplus should sell refillable bags. I recommend if you know the brand of the fillable moisture absorbent bag with salts so these can continuously be used. If you use moisture absorbent buckets I bet you can figure out the brand.

I've used DampRid in the past at my house (no A/C and live in North Carolina). While that worked just fine I was looking for something a bit easier to use in my closets and reusable. The VacPlus was out of the box and in my closets in minutes after delivery. Which was prompt too, by the way. I like giving 'the competition' my business. Will buy VacPlus again....because the humidity just doesn't go away

So far I am happy with the product. I like how it has a cover over the top. I find these to be much cheaper than the prior product I was buying. I will also try the hanging bags next. Living in Florida these are a must to put in your closets and under the sink.

I put one of these canisters in my bathroom as there's no window and one where the washer/dryer is. Seems to he doing a good job of controlling the humidity. Well packed and reasonably priced. I definitely will order again.
