I got psoriasis this january on my face , I had 6 big red patches , along with terrible joint pain , to the point my knees were swollen . Since taking this my joint pain is gone and I no longer have the red patches

Grabbed these at the advice of my doctor to help general inflammation related issues. It's been working fairly well so far. At the recommended 2 capsules a day this is a 30 day supply, which is OK at its normal price. Though it seems to have a generous 25% discount at the time of writing this, which makes it a definite recommend at that price.

The Built By Nature turmeric was ordered to replace a supplement that was used up.This 2-tablet, 550 mg serving of turmeric per tablet is a lower serving than I have been taking for the past several years to help relieve pain in my joints and fingers. I cannot take NSAID pain relievers, and there are only a few ways for me to relieve this pain with supplements. Turmeric Curcumin with black pepper is one of them. One of the features that I like about this brand is that is has the black pepper for added absorption. In addition, the size of this tablet makes it easy to swallow. If you are like me, I despise those "horse pills" that create a gag effect. These are a good size that do not (at least for me) have that type effect. However, in order for me to achieve the same amount of turmeric that I receive in the previous brand, I need to take 4 of the tablets rather than 3 I have been taking. The same thing applies to the amount of black pepper when comparing the 2 brands.The feature that is a "must" for me is that these tablets that are manufactured in the USA and carry the GMP certification. I try not to consciously order a non-GMP product.BOTTOM LINE: This brand does help alleviate some of the pain in my fingers and joint. I know that it is not a cure-all for everyone, and that for some people it does not work. However, in order for me to achieve the same level of turmeric and black pepper, I have to take 4 tablets rather than the 3 that I have previously taken. Also, the effective cost for me to take these pills is raised by this fact. The turmeric works for me, but it is more expensive per actual serving.

I have grade 3 OA (osteoarthritis) of the knees so I am taking a lot of supplements to manage the pain which is now mostly "light" due to my exercises routine, supplements etc.. I currently use (off-and-on rotation) quercetin, bromelain, turmeric w/black pepper, ginger, cinnamon. Additionally, I have GERD and had some gum issues last year so inflammation was running very high in my body. I worked with my MD and did my own research and got on the right supplement plan for my needs. I highly recommend you do the same since everyone's situation is different and you always want to be careful when combining supplements with any prescription meds you might be taking.The REVIEW:PRO's -- cGMP facility is a good thing; 3rd party tested (a huge plus given they are voluntary allowing outsiders to see how they operate); made in the USA; a combination supplement with a lot of inflammation fighting power via turmeric (organic ginger and curcuminoids) plus black pepper and ginger all in one supplement; everything I have read on multiple sites indicates black pepper is essential to increase absorption when taking turmericFILLERS/ADDITIVES -- standard and pretty nominalBENEFITS -- most research I did showed there "MAY" be about 7-10 benefits from taking turmeric; I recommend researching on turmeric and ginger on reputable medical sites first and working your way downRESULTS -- this is a nice product for me since I can take less pills and still get excellent inflammation fighting results due to the multitude of ingredients in this productEverything looks very professional and well made from this company.

I've been either cooking with a ton of Turmeric or I've been drinking the liquid supplement. But neither option is very travel-friendly. So to keep on my Turmeric regimen, I had to try these capsules out. So far, it's been super convenient to have these as I can put what I need in a plastic bag, my pill box, or I can bring the whole bottle. I also don't need to store them in my fridge like my liquid variant. Turmeric works really well for me as an organic anti-inflammatory. I wasn't sure how effective these capsules would be compared to my liquid, but I've been able to do a complete switch without much change in benefit. I usually take some after I work out and I've since switched from liquid to these capsules and continue to feel great afterwards. I appreciate the claim the company BioPerine makes to increase the absorbency using black pepper. I'm not sure how true this may be but like I said I haven't really noticed a difference between taking these capsules and my liquid. Liquid is obviously easiest to absorb, so if I'm feeling the same with the capsules, I can only assume that I'm absorbing these capsules just as well. I do really like the inclusion of ginger as well. The value is pretty good too as 1 bottle lasts me for about 1 month.
