Band snapped that holds the carb into the engine. the gas hose has also been chipped away this is not due to banging it just cheap metal

One word of advice is to measure your piston's original wrist pin before ordering this kit!!! I have owned many pocket bike engines and although most look the same from the exterior, there are slight differences internally and one of them is the wrist pin.The piston in this kit is pretty nicely finished. The piston rings installed easily with no issues. Make sure the ring gaps line up with the detents that are already in the piston. There is no binding or tight spots when installing the piston into the cylinder.The carburetor needed some most work. The throttle plate needed to be sanded down because some sharp and rough edges has caused some binding. The choke plate was somehow not the correct shape and interfered with the movement. A lot of material from the choke plate needed to be removed in order for it to function. The casting on the exterior was very rough. The area that I needed to sand down was the mating surface to the air filter. After doing all this, the carb was ready to be fitted.Everything bolts up directly, basically replacing all the old parts with the parts in this kit and you're ready to go. The only thing I did not use was the spark plug as I was having some spark issues. I had to swap to an NGK branded plug and that solved the problem.Some other observations were the cylinder head has very rough castings and one of the fins on the cylinder head was bent, but it seem like it's cosmetic only so it shouldn't affect the performance of the engine.After assembly, the engine ran pretty well with no starting issues. Power delivery definitely feels more punchy.

Got this as a spare and very satisfied.Everything you see is included.Gaskets are in good shape.All parts look well made.. cylinder looks great..even the HP carb looks better than 1 I currently have..there is a rubber gasket for the fuel inlet which is a lot better than the plastic screen/gasket which always leaks..so points for the rubber gasket in the carb and the copper gasket for the head which seals better and helps with performance by minimizing overheating through increased heat transfer to the head.Value is definitely there..5 stars
