Ruggedly built to hold fragile plants in high-wind areas
We routinely get wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph which sends chairs, tables, and any potted plants toppling. These container stabilizers -- called Top Hats -- are rock solid, especially if you have several containers with the bottom rings overlapping. Yet they are easy to move if needed. Make sure to get the Top Hat circumference smaller than the top diameter of your container to have it grip the container at the sides. The container should not sit loosely inside the middle circle. Rarely see these available at big box hardware stores. A.M. Leonard or through Amazon. Delivery was fast, too.

It really prevents potted trees from falling
This has been the best product. It has been great in preventing my potted lemon tree from blowing over.

20 gallon size is ENORMOUS
These plant stabilizers are great! Visually unobtrusive, and super effective. The 5 gallon size is well worth the money. A great product to stop potted plants from blowing over in the wind. The 5 gallon is the one with the terra cotta pot. I needed a bigger one for a potted palm and a potted hibiscus tree, which were in bigger pots. The 20 gallon size is HUGE and kinda pricey. The pot was lost in the expanse of the 20 gallon stabilizer so that it wouldn't stop the plant from falling over. I ended up repotting them in larger pots with a brick in the bottom. (Can barely move them...) I put the newly potted palm in the 20 gallon size which was still extra roomy. I ended up having my brother cut it and weld it into a smaller circle, about 18-20 inches in diameter. The refashioned 20 gal size is what is shown on the picture of the palm tree. Essentially they need to make a medium size, that doesn't cost $60.
