Animals are too big, not HO scale
I like the trees and other plants but the animals are bigger than what I think HO scale would be. I will have to go to Hobby Lobby to get the size I was looking for.

Animals too big and no tree bases but the trees are great!
Love the variety of trees and the three edge rows included in the set. I am not a model train expert and did not expect the trees just having a pointed bottom that needs to be stuck into something that is not included. There are no tree bases included, so you need to have a Styrofoam board or something to stick them in for them to stand up. Not taking a star off for that since that may be my fault for not knowing. One star lost, though, for the scale of the animals. The rabbit is as big as a tree, and the deer... well... Godzilla! Ha ha! The animals will go to the Goodwill or be used for something else. They do not fit in this forest unless you put the trees back a few feet and pretend the animals are huge because they are closer to the viewer.

Creating magic
This is a Christmas gift for my son who will create some magic for my 2-year-old grand twins. Hopefully, it will work well with his design.

Lame. Not worth $20+ cheap. Only get a total of 5 animals and the squirrel is as big as the deer
