Great gift for fan of Batman: The Animated Series!
If you liked Season 1, Season 2 is a great companion volume. I miss B:TSA, but the comics help to keep the magic alive. Great artwork and the stories and writing are on par with the original series. Lots of fun!

Best Batman Comic
Paul Dini delivers fantastic Batman content again. The Animated Series universe is the quintessential DC universe, and it's a joy to see the characters from the tv shows once more. New characters to the universe like the Court of Owls are introduced.I must say that I really enjoy reading all the references. In the last comic book, Dini canonized Azrael, Red Hood, Harley's Suicide Squad, and Mad Hatter's Wonderland Gang, further enriching the Animated Series.I love his characterization of Batman and the other characters. Nowadays, it's hard to recognize the heroes and villains in the mainstream comics. However, Dini knows who the characters truly are and incorporates them into his story masterfully.A must buy!

Family affair
A good book. Part of me enjoys this book more out of nostalgia I loved the animated series, and with Kevin Conroy passing I can hear his voice in every panel from Batman. The book starts big with the animated version of the Court of the Owls. Not many of the many Gotham rouges gallery in thus book, but I especially liked the episode continued from the series it's self.Anyone who loved the series will enjoy this book, more gangsters and corruption that the super villains but it fits the style of the book. The book finishes with a varient cover gallery and sketch book.
