Package arrived in great condition, not too heavy. Very easy assembling. Photo online is accurate. Purchased the futon for visiting family. Fits three people very nicely for seating. The metal bar up the middle is uncomfortable for sleeping/laying down. I will consider a mattress topper. As a back sleeper, it would be an issue. As a side sleeper you can scoot past the bar. The arms and back go up and down easily fabric is nice. The color is true to the photo. When the futon is an upright position. There is a perfect size area to put pillows, sheets, and a little blanket tucked out of the way very nicely.Overall, with the exception of the bar running up the middle, it is a very nice futon for the money. If you are a side sleeper It is much more doable. Sturdy, laying on my side I tested it, and it was very sturdy being away from the middle section.

It's really cool that each side can move separately. The arm rests are a violent feature and the bed lays flat. My son uses this as his bed in his room and has no complaints. I think it's hard in the middle where it folds. Good design and easy to assemble.

Moved into my first 480 sq. ft. studio apartment and need to furnish it on a budget. Have a regular queen bed, so was looking for a futon/sleeper that could be used for whenever I had an overnight guest in town. I was really set on a more mid-century looking one that was longer but went with this one because it had better comfort ratings. I was apprehensive about the size though and had slight buyer's remorse but it was shipped before I could cancel it. I'm glad I didn't though because it ended up better than I thought it would be.They don't lie when they say this is a small piece for a small space, but it isn't as small as I was imagining it to be. The legs are only 8 inches off the ground, but when you add in the platform and cushoning, the seat is about 17" up. I'm 5'10" and it's not hard for me to sit and stand up from it. I can also lay on it length wise and fit it exactly, but any one taller would be dangling off both ends. Folded down, it's about a twin size. Can sit two spaciously, three people on the smaller side with the armrest parts down. Being a futon and a $300 one at that, I did not have high expectations when it came to comfort, it's unrealistic to expect otherwise at this price point. But I must say it is very comfortable while still firm for proper support. I can easily get comfortable and lay on it to watch TV, read a book, or nap. I probably wouldn't use it as an every day convertible bed if you are interested in that purpose. I would probably get a nice twin size pillow top cover for extra padding for guests.Do not use a box cutter as instructed on the box as you will easily slice into the fabric. It's very easy to assemble and disassemble which is a plus for easy moving. I recommend having another hand in lifting the box if you have to move it 2+ floors and in flipping it over after you screwed the legs on. I had to get really creative doing it myself without damaging the legs or frame.Overall, if you are looking to furnish a small living space on a budget, I would recommend this futon. It's sleek and modern looking and helps your space not look crowded while also not looking super dinky. Also the best comfort you'll get at this price point.

I purchased this couch to go in my very small second bedroom/office. I love how soft the material feels. Also, it has easily adjustable arms & back. It is great for small spaces. I love this couch!

This sofa-futon is an inexpensive replacement for a sofa we loved that reached the end of its usefulness. It was incredibly easy to assemble. Within 15 minutes of taking it out of the box, we had it in place. The proportions work fine, I don't even have to prop my back up, it's just the right height and depth for us short people. It's super easy to convert from sofa to daybed to futon for sleeping. Ingenious engineering. It falls short on padding, it's a little thin, not as cushy as what we're used to. I'm hoping that the memory foam will fluff up after having been compressed for shipping. On the arms you can feel the wooden frame underneath the upholstery. The fabric is coarse. It lacks some finesse but I can't complain as it didn't cost much and it fits in our compact living room.Few days later: Yeah, not very comfortable. Stuffing is lumpy. I'm hoping that means the memory foam is inflating. I'll let you know if it does.Two months later: no, the stuffing is not inflating, it is still lumpy and thin. I guess, that's just how it is. It's great for that extra bedroom for guests, or an office room that sometimes has to be used for (uncomfortable) sleeping. It's still worth the money, the engineering is definitely worth it. We will put it in our extra room when we can afford to get a better replacement.

This isn't my 1st futon, but definitely the best I've ever purchased. I waited to review since I wanted to use it long enough to give an honest one. We've now had this for a year & it has held up, is still comfortable, & still looks great! The adjustable rests are a great added feature,too. Highly recommend. It’s a okay looking product but the length mentioned in the product description is deceptive. It claims that it is 71 inches long which gives me the impression that a person of unto 5 ft 11 in can lay down but I am only 5’6” but even my legs are hanging over. Very disappointed! Don’t have the patience to disassemble and return. I think that’s what Amazon and these manufacturers are counting on! They know it’s a hassle to return furniture so they misrepresent.
