I couldn't be happier with these My AlphaPet Poop Bags!
First, I like that these bags by My AlphaPet are made of 100% biodegradable cornstarch. They feel like plastic, but they're not plastic. They're SO much better for the environment than polyethylene plastic bags (the kind that are used in most grocery stores).Second, I like the thickness of the bags. They strong; they don't break or split. They're thicker than those obtained from grocery stores.Third, I like the size of each bag: 9" wide x 13" long; not too big, not too small.Fourth, I like that they're available in two quantity options: 120 count (bags) and 240 count (bags). I chose 240 bags (= 16 rolls with 15 bags per roll). My two new 15-week old kittens — growing boys — like to EAT; and they poop accordingly. :–) It's great to have plenty of perfect-size poop bags on hand!Fifth, I feel good about the value of these bags relative to the cost.Thank you My AlphaPet for your excellent product!

Not the best. But acceptable.
These bags have two flaws that keep them from being 5 stars. The first is really the sticker on each roll that keeps the bags from unrolling. I've used several rolls now and each time I've ripped a small hole in a bag trying to remove the sticker, making that bag unusable for dog duty. The second issue is the seam at the bottom. Over half the bags have the seem set so they won't open to the full size. This can make picking up items tricky and limits the space available in the bag. (See second and third photos). That being said they don't rip when being tied off and I don't worry about keeping them in my pocket when full. I use these bags for litter box duty and find when they dont open fully they are harder to keep open to get the scoop inside. I lile to believe these are still a greener option than other bags, and the cost per bag neither too high nor so low as to be a deal. They are just middle of the road overall.

Truly biodegradable plant-based poop bags
These bags are my favorite. They are a bit pricey, but it is worth it to know I am not adding more plastic into the landfills. There is a lot of discussion about biodegradable vs compostable and whether or not dog poop (or other animal poop) should be composted. The answer is no, animal waste should not be put in a home compost pile, regardless of what type of bag it is in. Poop can go into some industrial composts or anaerobic digesters, but not a back yard compost. These bags will break down quickly in the proper environment, which makes them biodegradable (and not in the sense that everything eventually breaks down). These bags are all about reducing your plastic usage and input into the landfills, which is where poop goes. These bags will break down quickly in a landfill and allow the poop to contribute to further decomposition of other trash. They are even packaged in cardboard rather than plastic, which is much appreciated (although Amazon ships with plastic padding). There are specialized products out there now that allow you to compost animal waste in your backyard, and I do not know if these can be put into those composters. In any case, I appreciate the plant-based bags. They are a good size (I have a large dog), nice and thick, very soft, easy to rip, and fit nicely into standard bag dispensers. Spent the extra money and help take care of our Earth!

Better than plastic, but be prepared for a few per roll to rip when tearing them off
As a professional dog walker I go through a lot of poop bags. My first order of these bag was perfect, I absolutely loved them. I didn’t have any problems tearing them off, they didn’t rip, nothing ever leaked out. However my second order I would say at least 2-3 bags per roll fell apart as I was tearing them off, either they tore in a way that created a hole on the bottom or they literally split down the sides. The sticker they use to keep them rolled also put a hole in the first bag of the roll every single time. And while I want to continue with plant based poo bags I also need them to stand up and not waste so many because they rip. I will say not one ripped after use, not one leaked. But I will be testing some other plant based poo bags to see how they hold up in comparison, and see if there are fewer wasted per roll.

Perfect poop bags! Sturdy, perfect size and not harmful to environment.
The best poop bag I have used. So happy to have found them! Very sturdy, don't have a scent. Size is great - long enough to keep hand up to wrist covered and really good durability - especially impressive for being earth friendly! I feel very confident that my fingers will not accidentally go through the bag. Isn't that a nice thing to not worry about? Yes! I also like that the bag is long enough that there is room for a big ol' load and still room to tie it up and carry it by the neck of the bag, not in my hand. The bags are also not so thin that it can't contain the smell. Another bonus while in transport to dispose of it. The bag itself is not scented, which I really like. After reading more about what bags are actually biodegrade vs the companies that say that their bags are biodegradable, (the Federal Trade Commission has issued warnings about these companies being deceptive in their claims) but nope, they are not - not every green poop bag is the same. It costs more to purchase bags that will actually break down - but I hope you will consider it, when you think about how many poop bags you are filling up in a week...a month.. a year.Just a perfect poop bag. So happy I found these and bonus, I am pretty sure they are made by a small company in the USA.

TRULY biodegradable
TRULY biodegradable. Don't get fooled by other companies that say they are but on further research you can see really aren't. These are. Also don't let the posts that say they are hard to pull apart or use in any way deter you...just means you have to pay a tiny bit more attention when you use them is all. I would recommend you go for the green, larger quantity in the box ones since the scent of the red ones might not be for all (not unpleasant just a bit strong). Will ONLY use these for as long as they are made and will recommend them proudly! Arrived quickly and in great shape.

Bought these for their "green" credentials....
........after discovering that the ones we'd used before - which say they're bio-degradable - actually aren't. They ceratinly wouldn't be able to claim they were, it seems, in the USA.So, ordered a big box of these. They're expensive. I see they're made of corn starch or some such. Fine. At first I was OK with them. They arrive in a biggish box which contains rolls of the bags, all folded lengthways so the rolls are maybe 2 inches wide. Haven't counted the number of rolls but it's quite substantial. The first disadvantage is that they've not got tie handles, so knotting them is more of a fiddle, but OK - we're saving the planet here, OK?Next is that I'm losing maybe one roll in four because the welding of the bottom of the first bag has spread so that the opening neck of the second bag on the roll is welded also. Only by a tiny amount, but just you try opening it - these bags tear incredibly easily, which isn't what you want when it's full of dog poo, either.Probably won't bother with these again. There are times when green solutions just don't work properly. Cornstarch bags may be one of them.

Contain Plastic!
These bags contain ‘a little bit of plastic’ according to this company. I don’t know what a little bit of plastic equates to, but they’re either compostable or they’re not compostable. I seem to be paying more in my quest to go plastic free only to find I’m still using plastic 😫

Ripped bags
Have been using these for a few years and buy in advance to be organised. Just opened the box bought in Feb. The bags keep ripping which has led to some very embarrassing spillsband rendering them useless. I am now over the period to return the item and have no other way to raise this complaint.

Sacchetti veramente biodegradabili

Biodegradables 100 %. Me encantan. Las he comprado varias veces y las volveré a comprar.
