Originally I had the product for a few months and used it a total of 4 times. It had the files go corrupt. Customer service tried to send the files to update the tablet. Unfortunately I'm not tech savvy enough to flash the firmware and repartition the tablet as suggested. Customer support was able to accept the tablet under warranty and send a brand new replacement. Although I experienced some difficulty. It's very rare to have a company follow up and confirm if I was satisfied with the outcome. That alone has been the reason for my review update. They made sure to correct the issue. I'm very thankful for that.

The pass through is a joke ….the software won’t work…won’t update or “upgrade” as the overseas version implies….they say to email…but that’s a joke as well…. One of the main reasons I purchased this,…..live and learn ….live and learn,…,

Impossible J-2534 passthrough device, setup everything downloaded and installed according to difficult to find instructions to no success. Tablet is awesome! Launch software should have caught up on factory DTC usage by now and the operation and coverage is clunky even a 100$ scanner is closer to where this should be. A few good things but doesn't seem to make up for the end user experience.... Returning for a better experience.

i liked how easy this was to set up and register.the directions were easy to follow with no problems. this is one of the easiest scanners i ever used. very easy to navigate through all the programs. i would highly recomend this to anyone doing repairs on vehicles. you dont have to be a rocket scientist to use this

Better than OE tools for American carsIt has all the fantastic functions X431 V+hassuch as ECU coding,bi-directional control, guided function,reset servicesetc,and the operating speed is even more swift.The coolest new feature of X431 PRO5 is the SmartLink Box which allows for j2534 ECU programming.We successfully complete the programming after we change the engine assembly for a Benz E200 2017.Have to say the operation is super easy to handle.I tested it with about 10 vehicles from different brands and so far so good.

Bought in December 22” used it 10 times and this happens . Can’t get any assistance to get it repaired . Waste of money !! Very disappointed

Launch X431 pro5 been good with communicating with all make and models and compatible with 12V/24V vehicles, I changed a faulty control unit of the driver door module for my Audi A4L 2011,and the faulty code shwed up. I followed the instruction on the tablet to finish the online coding, and the code cleared quickly. really love this diagnostic tablet scanner. It also saves all diagonstic records and that function makes dealers better organize their diagnostic results.
