Yes, I look crazy. No, I don’t really care. I wear this while driving (I’m very aware) and while out and about. It helps keep the sun off the top half of my face that the mask in the picture doesn’t cover. I had a hat mask from collibar, but it made driving extremely dangerous so I thought of this instead and I’ve been quite happy thus far.

I will wear this because it really does feel very protective from the sun.A few things though, it puts a big hat mark on my forehead when I wear it which is not my favorite thing.The other thing is, this looks super cute on the model in this picture - on me, it looks like I'm trying to look like little bo peep or from little house on the prairie.I tried to straighten the brim to see if that would help and my mom said I looked like the flying nun. All that being said, I have had people compliment it and ask where I got it when I've been out, expressing how it looks like a great choice for those of us who are concerned about the sun on our faces.It does the job and I will wear it for that, and it may look great on a lot of other people, but for me, I'm wearing it for function, not fashion.

My family calls it the granny hat...but they all try to take it from me!!! It has become my go to Disney hat. Shields sun, heat, rain. ..it's perfect!!!

I think a nice wide sun visor is a great idea, however, this is not it. The headband is very stiff, which would be good if it fit, but it's big and wide and basically just balances on my head. And it's not very comfortable. It's so loose breeze would blow it away (hence the Flying Nun comment), but that makes it useless for riding in a convertible or being on a boat or other moving thing. I really love the wideness of the brim, but it doesn't do much good if it doesn't stay on. I really wanted to like this, but it just doesn't work for me.

It looks great and it is comfortable when I wear it, I bought two more after ordering the first one.
