Great value reef tank light
The A100 by Hipargaro arrived just 1 day after i ordered it - amazing! The light is easy to set up, easy to customize a lighting preference or just use a preset lighting regime (5 channels to adjust if desired). I have it above an Aquatop Recife 24, plenty of light penetration with the light channels adjusted to about 70% in the blues/actinic(channels 2-4), 20% in the 14K whites(channel 1), 5% in warm 3000K,6500K (channel5) will slowly ramp it up as I add SPS, only have 3 corals (trumpet, montipora, clove polyps) in at the moment! Light spread is wonderful with the A100's LED arrangement. The stand is well made and attached to the back of my rimless AIO without issue, easy to adjust. Remote works but have to be pretty close to the unit for it to receive signal, not really an issue once set up.Hoping someone makes a shade for this A100 because it is very powerful when ramped up to SPS level lighting! Fan is quiet - barely hear it running:)So far 5 stars... will update with par readings in a few weeks after ramping up lights a bit!Update 4/3/23 - light is performing well, no issues, adjusted levels down... 2%14,000K, 55% blues/actinic, 2% 6500K - 9 frags loving it so far - various zoas, duncan, montipora, clove polyps, GSP, bounce shroom, cyphastrea. Will rent a par meter from local LFS next week and update.Update 04/15/2023 - Parwise Par Meter readings...Light set 10" above tank. Settings - custom, 3%(14K), 80%(450-457nm),80%(430nm),80%(410-420), 1%(3000K-6500K) = spectrum peaks at 448-450nm.Readings in middle of tank directly beneath center of light fixture, moderate water flow.Distance beneath water surface = Par Reading2" = 4354" = 3856"= 3258" = 27510" = 23512" = 21014" = 178The readings to the sides and in the back of the tank ranged from a high (at 4" deep) = 240par, to a low of 130 par at 16" in the back and 170 at 16" in the front, sides were similar. Tank is an Aquatop recife AIO 24G, inside tank measurements = 17" wide, 14" front to back (not including filter area in back), 17" deep, 1" white sand bed.I will try to do the same with all levels set at 100% and post in a day or two...Update - par readings at 100% for all channels ranged from a high of 600 at 2'' to a low of 275 at the bottom.Added side view photo 6 months in...Light is performing well - good growth on mixed corals...

Light is worth every penny!
I used the Aquaknight light made by this brand and when I was ready to upgrade I wanted to use the same brand and so glad I did. I bought these lights 1 year ago and I am shortly going to buy a 3rd to go over my 125 build I’m in process of setting up. The mounting hardware is made well except the screws holding onto tank are plastic . The screw holding one of the adjustments is slightly threaded out. Those are the only two issues I’ve had. I may build a custom light stand to go over tank to hold all 3 avoiding these issues. The light itself is as close you will get to a $500 light for a black box edition. The light is heavy durable and well made. The buttons on the light are easy to naviagate once you learn how to set up. You have option to set up sunrise time , peak sunlight, and moonlight. The system gradually raises and lowers intensity between the times. Also it Bluetooth connects to the second light so you only have to put your selections into the first light and the second syncs to the same settings. It has very very powerful lights. It comes set with pre programmed lighting schedules for sps, lps and mix , freshwater . I run mine for 10 hours a day. I run 100% violets at moon time to fluorescent my corals and give my mandarin time to hunt copepods before bed. I have had strong growth with these lights with all my corals - including acrapora, montipora , horn coral , brain corals , acans, trumpets, torch’s , chalices, to name a few that have all quadrupled in size since I added these lights and got serious about stable water chemistry and added kalkwasser in my ATO. Sorry for long response but I saw these lights were on sale and was amazed I didn’t leave a review after I bought them. Here I am over a year later and honestly just as happy. If your looking for a quality light to grow any type of coral and don’t care to have acclimation mode or have an app on your phone to control your lights or want to pay a car payment towards a light. Then this is the light your looking for. You won’t be disappointed and if you are send it back. I bought another black box light from Amazon and sent them back before finding these. Good luck

Excellent reef light with 2 minor problems
For the money, this is a great reef light. I have it on a 15 gallon growing SPS/LPS and a few softies. It is very bright, so I turned the brightness down a bunch. It is surprisingly very customizable. However, there are 2 items to be aware of:1) The inside part of the bracket hangs about 1/4" into the water, as the bracket depth is fairly large (~1.35"). After about 3 weeks, I noticed that the paint and primer rubbed off and dissolved somewhere in the tank water. Not sure the toxicity level, but nevertheless, that is not good. There is also some rust forming. If I rub the bracket, paint and rust do come off. I have yet to see any adverse effects, but I run carbon and have an oversized filtration system. SOLUTION: I 3D printed a cover that goes onto the bracket (see pic).2) The bracket is very wide for any type of rimless tank. I was very uncomfortable supporting this light onto a rimless tank with just the pressure of two screw points. This is a flawed design IMO or the bracket should include a part to take up the addition space. Since it didn't, I 3D printed this as well. I added a piece of felt so the bracket does not scratch my glass. So, light 5 stars...bracket 3 stars.

Great!
Works great! Super easy to use and keeps all more coral happy and healthy with it’s different pre set settings!

Chirping like a cricket.
The light was great. Everything was going good until 2 months in when the light started chirping like a cricket. I believe the fan is already starting to go our. This is unfortunate because I am now 30 days passed the return window. I guess it's true... you get what you pay for.

Haciéndola no funcuonal. Lástima pues la calidad de manufactura es bastante buena

Needs better quality control
The ramp up feature is nice and the light spectrum is very wide and you can control 6 different light channels separately which is great for getting the perfect lighting. My one complaint is when I turn the b channel on (blue light) it makes a very annoying buzzing sound that you can hear when youre in the same room, no other light channel does this.Update: the internal clock creeps forward very quickly. Adjusted it 2 days ago and it's already 2 min forward. This is the second time adjusting it, the last time it creeped forward almost 7 minutes in about a week. :/
