lets talk about this knife
ok this knife is not a yoshihiro knife, this is a Goh Umanosuke Yoshihiro. i dont know anything about Goh Umanosuke Yoshihiro but here's what i can tell you about the knife, the knife is great. the knife has very nice handle design, good design over all really. out of the box sharpness was not great, but if you are buying a knife like this you have stones and know how to use them. the knife took an incredibly nice edge, crazy sharp in fact. overall this knife is very good.

One of my Favorite Yoshihiro Knives!!!
Wanted a Japanese Boning knife that was well made in the true Japanese tradition. This knife is very well made. For the price it is a steal. I am serious, this is an awesome knife. Can not say enough about it. I purchased knife knowing that I can hone this knife myself and maintain it. This knife has a small blade and fairly straight.This would be a great knife to purchase if you wanted to self teach or practice using a whetstone. A lot easier that a 8.5 inch blade.
