Only downside to these is they will not work with my wife's iphone, but they do work with the other dozen iphones and ipods they've been plugged into. But we've also found several other cords that won't work with her phone either. Everyone who comes over loves the extra length that these provide.

The seller did have one issue, but it was resolved. Got only one cable in the mail and waited a few days to see if others were sent seperately, but they weren't. No invoice was given with the one that came just a note that the product had been tested thoroughly. Sent an email to the seller thru amazon and informed them that I had only received one cable. Another week or more went by without any response so we thought. Then after checking our spam folder we found a reply had been sent by seller the following day after my email to them. He appologized and mentioned there was just an employee error and he then sent us the remaining 3 cables plus an extra as a gift to say he was sorry. That was appreciated. The cables came quickly, in much less time than amazon shipping estimate had said even with our delayed issue. All four + 1 arrived a week before estimated date of arrival. Did like the service a lot.Have to also say the length is very impressive and the cable works great. No issues. Fellow employees keep walking in and noticing this long cord and me sitting comfortably while on my ipod and gasp with questions and impressive expressions, "where'd you get that?" Enough said I think!

I bought these cables so as to have nice long charging cables for various places I enjoy sitting with my iPad. I read all reviews, and had no misconceptions that it was for charging only, and could not be used to sync.The cables arrived quickly. They did not look at all like the cables advertised. But they seem very sturdy, and look as if they have been reinforced at the cable's weaker points where they enter each connecting plug. I was still happy.I eagerly pluged a cable into my iPad "3" and used the original Apple 10 Watt Power Adapter. The iPad put the message "Not Charging" on the upper right corner of the screen, where normally you can tell if the unit is being charged. Same result on all the cables. I was crushed.To test them, I hooked one to my son's iPod. Worked just fine! Tried it with my wife's iPad. Would not charge it.Then, just to see, I hooked one up again to my iPad while hooking the USB side to my PC running iTunes. The unit sync'ed just fine! It just won't charge!!!!!!Decided it would be too big of a hassle to return them just for 14 bucks, so instead will give cables to all my friends using iPods and older iPhones. Just makes no sense why they don't charge iPads, but will other iProducts.Buyer Beware. Your mileage may vary.

Like the other reviewers these cables have a high failure rate. So I was prepared for that when my daughter kept breaking hers. But some will work and continue to work. So for the price its not too painful. The long cords are nice for the bedroom/couch areas and keeping siblings from stealing each others cords.

I had such a hard time choosing an extra long charging cable for my iPhone 4 because nearly all of them have bad reviews on Amazon and I did not want to pay a lot. I finally decided on these and have been using them for several months now. Two have broken but only one of the two broke to an extent of being unusable. I gave two as a gift. On one of the gifted ones the rubber like material covering the wires detached from the connector piece but the wires did not detach so it is still usable. The other gifted one still works perfectly fine. The first one I used stopped working completely after about 2 or 3 weeks. My phone simply would not charge on it anymore. However, I realized it was because I would pull on the wire and not the connector itself when I disconnected it from my phone. I have been using the last one for a long time now and it is still doing great.The only thing about these cables is, you have to be extremely gentle and careful with them. You cannot pull them by the wire and put them through hell like you can the Apple ones. They are of good quality as long as you take care of them.HOWEVER, you cannot use these charges to connect to a computer or to iTunes. It does not work, it never will work. So if you are looking for a cable to replace your Apple one, you need to spend extra money on another Apple cable. But if you just want one so you can use it in bed and still have it charging like me, this will be perfect.

Man I love this long cord no more short cord or having the connection pulling out of the wallso I got this for my family and friends. Ones they notice how long the charging cabling wasthey wanted to buy the ones I had (LOL) You can't go wrong with this item and yes its a must haveI think once the word is out on the extra long iphone cable stores will stock them and mark the prine very high and they will get itbut for now this is a must have at a very good price

I bout these for myself and my family because they all have iPhones and I have an iPad. Well they work for charging iPhones but not the iPad, that was my first issue I had with them but I thought, "oh well at least they charge the iPhones." After about 2 weeks one started to short out and so I thought it was just faulty so I gave mine that I wasn't using to my sisters who's shorted out, after about 3 nights it also shorted out. So we have 2 left that haven't shorted out but they are cheaply made, the covers on the USB plug and the other end slide off all the time! Don't waste your money!

Cables were a bargain and working on all of my devices. On the I-pad, it sometimes says it isn't charging but actually it is charging. In an earlier review, I expressed some concern about shipping, but the items arrived only a day late (US Mail) so it really wasn't a problem. A company representative actually called me on the phone to ask about my shipping concern. It showed me they really care about customer service, even though I was only spending a few dollars. Other companies could take a lesson from these folks. I will buy from the company in the future and recommend the company to anyone.
