Enough for a single layer in a 4.75 gal container!
This is perfect for those who sous vide for long periods of time. I actually ordered 2 bags because I have a large (4.75 gallon) cambro container but was pleasantly surprised that I only needed one bag to get a single layer of coverage which is probably all you really need. Even with just a single layer, over the course of a 2 day cook, I barely lost any water. Definitely a cheap price for peace-of-mind.

Works as promised
These are fantastic! While I haven’t yet done a long high temperature sous vide cook (although duck confit is in my forecast), I have done both long low temperature and short high temperature cooks. In both cases, this product worked perfectly to both retain heat and eliminate evaporation.I also like that they’re smaller than ping pong balls and thus fill nooks and crannies more effectively. The net bag they come in is also ideal for hanging them up to air dry.
