This will go down in history as the most useful, and completely programable foot pedal that has ever been invented for guitarists and a perfect companion to the already AWESOME SPARK 40 amp. And then to be delivered by the most efficient purchase and delivery service on the earth. YES ! I AM A SATISFIED CUSTOMER. Thank You, AMAZON and POSITIVE GRID.

Awsome value and great fun
This little foot switch makes it so much easier to switch between tones while you are playing. Very sturdy, I am rough on my foot pedals, and easy to use. It only takes a few minutes to synch to the Positive Grid Spark amp and whatever device you are using the app on. Definitely worth considering if you like to change tones in the middle of a song!

Must have accessory for Spark
This footswitch is great and works exactly as you'd expect. Initial setup happens in seconds. You can switch between presets in no time. It's worth the investment if you have a spark amp.

The Schrödinger's Cat of "Future Proof" Hardware
Bought this because their website said that it was "the only pedal compatible with future Spark firmware and app updates." Turns out I couldn't update it through the Spark app because this product is from a third party that has their own app, and when I opened that one and clicked the button to check for updates I got an error. So is it compatible with updates or isn't it? The whole Spark system is a joke.

Works as Advertised
I also have a Boss Katana MKII Artist and also bought its CA-FC foot controller. I mention this because it includes a button that let’s you toggle between patch selection or effects selection. This is hugely useful. In contrast, this Positive Grid footswitch, which so far otherwise works wonderfully, requires you to select its mode of operation from the pulldown menu on whatever digital device you’re also required to stream everything through. So this would be an inconvenience if you were miking up this amp at a gig, something worth considering since the tones on the Spark 40 amp are the best modeled tones ever heard at an amp in this price range, and it’s loud enough for you to use as your own stage monitor. Then again, it was likely never the designers’ intent to use the amp this way; it is foremost a home practice and recording amp at which it succeeds spectacularly. That said, while the amp itself can be used without attaching it to a smart device, the footswitch cannot; there must always be a smart device connecting the two through Bluetooth. While this is technically an inconvenience, it is again likely exactly what the designers intended, as you can also not do deep editing, nor the smart backing tracks, nor any of the other powerful things the amp is capable of, unless its hooked up to its app on a smart device. So I am docking the footswitch one star because of the opportunities missed in not addressing these possibilities when designing it. But it does work great, and since my practicing and recording in my basement likely makes me their target audience, the product succeeds very well at this mission.
